I have encountered an issue with ET which is extremely irritating. Every so often, I get a loud static growling sound in my speakers and the game freezes up. By hitting CTRL+ALT+Delete (Win XP Pro SP1), I am able to eventually get back into the game, but then my mouse behaves erratically, and the only solution is to restart the game. The game is installed on a P4 (intel) with a 128mb Asus V9280 Ti4200 AGPx8 videocard, a Creative Soundblaster Live! 5.1 Digital with all the latest drivers installed. To me, it seems like a Video card drivers or, maybe more probably, a Sound Card drivers issue. Any suggestions from anybody who may have experienced the same thing?
