Great map, love the long range firefights over the canyon but where are you ment to take the gold when you capture it??

I’ve even hosted it and played by myself and couldn’t find the place :S

take it back to your spawn I think. or somewhere near there anyway.

tried that, and taking it back to the truck, can’t see anything on the command map

Hi!
I played Temple II. We managed to win (as allied). Not sure, but I think our gold bearer took the gold back to where we started. And into a tent (to a radio, in that tent)?
Nice map by the way.
I want to ask the map makers how they made the tank and the bridge work. Was it a copy from the fueldump script (the bridge there)? And the tank was copied from goldrush map?

You take it back to the tank in TempleII, and the Allied radio tent in TempleI.

Marko scripted the map, so you’ll have to ask him about that.

yeah markos map rocks. as far as i know its a 100% new map. not a moddified existign map. if you liked these maps just wait for whats comming soon (very soon)

Ya dont even need to bring it to the tank, just bring it to where the tank will end up at…

Is the best map (outside of the splash damage) I have played, and well they are right, the gold had to return to the tank, but i have a question, does it work if you steal the gold and take to the tank, but the tank haven’t moved yet? (yes it’s possible to take the gold without the tank)

I havnt found a way to get the gold till the Temple doors have blown.

I prefered it when you had to take it back to spawn. Gave some use to those underground tunnels.

I would guess at grenade launching or stacking onto the upper level of the temple. Or somehow getting dyno planted close enough to the tunnel roof to blow the hole (not sure how, planting on the floor doesn’t work), then stacking or grenade launching through it.

Taking it back to spawn would make more ‘sense’ but once you are into the tunnels I doubt that Axis could catch up and it would turn into a pointless slog across the desert.

As stated by someone else, after getting the gold you need only take it to the position that the tank ends up at. Personally, I consider this a bug. Regardless, that is the way it works on the map.

I have seen it happen a number of times where the allies sneak through the tunnels and manage to enter the temple, steal the gold, and win the game while the rest of us are fighting over the front lines. I say ‘seen’ but what I really mean is ‘experienced’ since I haven’t actually been on the strike team that did it, I was just on the server when it happened.
