tell_target doen't work?

I tried to use a tell_target script but is doesn’t work, are there others who have this problem?
I think you have to see the message yourself too, and i don’t see nothing.

I believe that tell_target is not part of RtCW or ET. It was a mod feature of either shrub, bani or both. I think…

No. it was a standard part of Vanilla RtCW.

Don’t know if it is in ET though.

people used tell_target as a cheat so it was removed. (you could use it to detect players in complete darkness or fog)

I used to have it bound to firing my sniper rifle.

Nothing like telling someone they are gonna die as the bullet hits em :slight_smile:

A while ago I went into the console and hit /cmdlist then /condump; giving me a full .txt of every command there is.
I went and did a search, no “tell” in the whole list of commands, guess they took it out.

Removed from ET or from Vanilla as well? I’m sure I was using it on V1.41.
