/tell_Target and ET.

Just to know, ell_target cmd is not available at all in ET, or has changed sintax?

i don’t want to know how to send private messages, i know how to make that, i want to know how to send a mex while pointing directly over a m8

enjoy your game :drink:

You’re right, /tell_target doesn’t work in ET. No idea why and it’s a bit of a pain as I used to use it to tell Meds pestering me for Ammo that I was re-charging etc.

a really sad news
maybe Bani coulp put this on next ET Pro patch, no?

We run Shrubmod on our general use server and he has a /m command that allows you to send a private message to any player. Sometimes handy, and I’ll bet bani will add it at some point (if he hasn’t already).

The only drawback is when I try to message one of my clanmates that have a space between their tag and their callsign. All of a sudden, I’m private messaging everyone with the [xor] tag! d’oh! But a still a cool feature.

that’s a private message
ell_target is a lot more useful, cause u can bind it on a key and use it to tell those damned wounded to stop so u can heal them

Putting the name in " " should work.

If you combine shrub’s private messaging function with his text shortcuts, you should be able to make this.

shortcuts:

So: “/m [p] I am recharging, please wait” should to the trick I guess…

private messaging with shortcuts doesn’t work. (I tested this the day this was added to the shrub beta testing, didn’t work)

No good for me either as I won’t be playing on Shrub servers, though I understand ETPro has a similar feature, so maybe worth investigating.
