Tech problem, Can't play the game

If i try to start the game I first get the consol,
it says a lot of shit i can’t follow,
and than it says i got an Open GL problem. :angry:
I did install the patch, but without it i get the same issue.
Someone know how to fix this? :???:

You’re using Windows XP and you haven’t installed the proper drivers for your graphics card, probably. Windows XP doesn’t support OpenGL as such, you need to install the right drivers for your card.

If you’ve got an nVidia card, make sure you use the older 45.23 drivers rather than the latest 5x.xx series, as they have known issues with Punkbuster.

is the opengl message something like “cannot open opengl subsystem”?

There are, IIRC, some programs that shaft the startup of Quake 3 engine games in this way too. I think having MS Netmeeting open does it, for example.

The same damn thing is happening to me please help both of us fix it because i really do not want to have to play some other shitty game.
