Spectators cannot join team and say “Team locked” when the count down has started.
They can join team after it has finish.
I have no idea which Cvar I can add or change to let the spectator join teams during the count down.
Please help.Thank you.

I like that, coz some idiot will always start shouting “UNLOCK THE TEAMS PLS!!!”. Then you tell him that he’s been locked off the game for abusive behaviour, the person starts complaining more and asking why him, then usually the match starts long before he even notices that he can join. Ah good times.

You cant join because if people werent ready it wouldnt have started. Fair enough servers shouldnt really use it but its very usefull and helps clans alot too. Its a feature not a bug…
Tho not a CVAR Feature. I think you just remove the number of players needed to start a game to get rid of the countdown…
Maybe its a feature, but in conjunction with the “kicked to spectator after each map”-bug it is very annoying.
On ETPro servers there’s b_match_warmupjoin 1 which I’m guessing does exactly what it says, lets players join during warmup.

Yes it is very annoying…
The count down meant to let all players finish loading the game and make the game fair…but…

Meh, I’m a fan of g_dowarmup 1 even for pubs (although with a low match_readypercent)–that way, the warmup countdown is offset by the level load time of a few clients, and most people will actually have the level loaded before the warmup countdown ends (without the need for a long warmup.)
I hate it when warmup finishes before I’ve loaded the level. 
This happens on the SD server, and for some reason I’m almost always kicked to spec at map switch (is it because I’m the one who finish loading first?). I hate missing the important initial rush because of this. :banghead:
Oh well, another reason to stick to ETPro… 
Yep, I hate it too when I just loaded the map and Allies are already up the ramp or the tank is already moving. And “restart map” votes are almost always useless …
the whole map loaded after warmup thing has to be one of them ost annoying thing about some servers, ever imo. Except from when both teams are locked in game play, and no one wil unlock it for u, even if teams are uneven 
ahh no i hate long waits for match start ups they should have a countdown of like 10 seconds then play… but then I only say that cos I have a 2meg line and a beast of a pc that laods the maps straight away while the rest of my team is standing there without a 999 ping =X
takes me at least 20 to load, im skint and didnt have enuf for another stick of ram so only have 256 mb 
I run and hide in Warmup. Always one of first to load, but that means 60 seconds of headache-inducing chaos. How can some people not get bored with choosing the flamethrower and using it for the entire minute in their spawn. Nope, I’m outta there, running off to hide from the noise. If I find a safe quiet spot to sit out the remaining seconds, and someone thinks it’s funny to kill me and make me respawn back in the pits of hell, then they are my new personal enemy and get none of my ammo packs for the rest of the game. Yes.
