I cant be the only one who wants this, whether it be my Skill or Level. Many times I have not enjoyed playing dirty bomb because teams are hugely unbalanced and and all that goes on is being trapped in spawn. Even when the votes are casted for shuffle teams by skill the votes always fail for some reason. Either its because players play in parties or just want to be dicks and not have a fair game and just want to win.
Team Balancing.
Had a game where I was on the winning side, decided to shuffle vote, switched teams, lost the game, :’( no win of the day for me.
I guess it fails because some people are not voting, and you need to have a fixed percentage of players voting “yes” to see the vote taking effect.
In my opinion, the votes should ignore the players that don’t vote. If you don’t vote, it’s because you don’t care right ? Or because people are too clueless to notice the voting happening, (and in that case it’s too bad for them). If there’s more “yes” than “no”, the vote should take effect. If this is put in place, maybe people will begin to take voting more seriously.
I’ve played for over 200 hours and only seen a shuffle pass once, the other day. Even afterwards it was still unbalanced and there wasn’t enough time left for the team getting stomped to make a come back

Something needs to be changed…I know I’ve been in several games where it’s like 4v6 or 5v7…and the team with superior numbers votes no so they can have a easy win.

This is generally the problem, people just want to win, they do not care about anyone’s enjoyment so they refuse to shuffle teams. This is also the reason why people refuse to kick hackers, they want an easy win. If this mentality were to change I’m sure this game would be a lot more fun to play… it’s a beta after all, why are so many people concerned about winning?
Hmmm I also thought the same, I came from console expecting more options to maximize my game and I found many, but then people on PC are worse on many console games you cant change team or vote to kick, on PC you can I was hoping this would be a better opportunity for me but I was wrong.

Trouble is I don’t think it will change…why people hack in the first place…well partially…partially because they suck and partially because they want to win easy…(3rd part they’re screwed up mentally and think they’re actually worth something
).
There is just no way to eliminate the bad…
I play with one team mate most of the time. We don’t want to play competitive with only 2 people. We set the time around 4 minutes and then you want to shuffle teams? Obviously I gonna press no. Often one player can carry his whole team. I never had a problem with bad teams, because even if I can’t plant c4 I can get a lot of kills and points in different way.
I kinda have an issue with balancing by level. Whenever I go into a pub match, the first thing I see is, “They have a lvl 25. gg. we lose”. (I am not even that high of a level compared to others). Makes me feel like it doesn’t matter what team I get on because the other team is going to call it unfair. I am constantly in matches where most players are between level 8-13, so my experience level is quite higher than their’s.
I have seen the first balancing vote pass yesterday on underground
to bad that the game hadn’t even started…
If it does win and the server decides to shuffle you while you’re still alive, it’ll kill you automatically.
good game… seriously.
No way.

Yup on a pub i just wait until appropriate time on spawn time, kill entire team, and then plant, and then defend the plant by myself. I don’t know what it is but for some reason bad players cant stay alive longer than about one spawn cycle, never understood how they can keep dying so fast, it is a mystery.
It’s even worse this rotation because no one can use the free mercs correctly.

I may get some hate for saying this, but in that case we may think about the possibility to make an “autobalance” system.
It’s a system well known in TF2, that more or less tries to set even numbers in team, preventing situations like a 4vs6 match (or worse). As far as I remember, the system tend to switch automatically the first player who died in the outnumbering team to the outnumbered team. It’s a system that make some players rage about (it’s never fun to be switched in the loosing team), but at least it’s efficient.
I often join and see people that lost, not the game but mentally.
Recently I have joined these guys, I have used a few harsh words to encourage them, but in the end it didn’t work, even when playing alone joining mid game i was able to get a fair share of kills and plant a bomb few times, I couldn’t do anything to boost team’s morale.
I have seen a lot of people that are constantly complaining at the team mates. Actually I think it’s the issue with the human ego, most of them more or less are looking for excuses and blaming the team is the simplest one.
In the fresh game like a Dirty Bomb, I do not believe that any kind of a matchmaking is necessary to maintain the balance in the PUG games. If you think that you are losing, because the teams are not balanced, improve your own skills to close the gap.
If you think that your own team is an issue, unite them, lead them. Not by complaining, but by showing the example how it’s done.
If the team wants to win and you can make an opening, it is possible to change the situation around, even if you have lost, it will not be that frustrating, knowing that you have put a good fight.
Personally i follow only one ideology, there are a lot of things that can be said before and in the middle of the match, but in the end wins better. Afterwards save a little of your dignity showing the respect for those who have won, simply saying GG, well played.
Shouldn’t the game just autobalance? Like if it’s 4v6 make it 5v5.
The game is 6vs6,
A team vs B team,
A team is going to win
B team players are leaving,
auto-balance,
the guy from the A team who worked hard to win, is going to lose.
Auto balance in a nutshell.
