[QUOTE=.Chris.;213781]Them things are hideous, my mate has one and I just don’t understand why you would do that to yourself, I know that in certain tribes they did similar things to the women so the white man wouldn’t find them attractive and steal them and well yeah I wouldn’t touch anyone with this crap either.

Selfmutilation is a serious mental condition and should be treated accordingly.
Mutilation of others is a f*cking crime.

Tattoes/rings/earrings themselves used to represent certain qualities or archievements(if you could think of prison sentence as of such) of an individual not so long ago, but the idea is, in civilised societies those things were consciously unobtrusive. What you see now is just awful with all those insane piercers with faces barely visible under metal(christ, they do it on their own volition11!!!).

It used to be a symbol, now it`s like a f*cking McDonalds, same everywhere.

(Shiv) #27

Mine is a symbol of the year i spent in nz
has enough meaning for me!

(.Chris.) #28

You need a permanent scar to remind you of happy times?

(Donnovan) #29

This is people diversity Chris.

You can understand, but can’t do that by bare inteligence… You need good will, to not fall in the traps on the way.

Something is wrong when one state that 99% of the world does not make sense… And even more wrong if one have the answer to justify that.

humans is wrong.
thats “what”.
too many, sometimes.
i can justify that without answers.
point is to be SELF, to be Human in ALL cases.
not in sense of “i can’t adapt”, but listen to you heart, not only brain/logic/experience.
its never fail.

(Slade05) #31

Diversity through selfmutilation, fook yea!1!!!

(brbrbr) #32

yeah, be Alien and enjoy consequences.
its hard, sure.

Even 10mm ones don’t close properly, and to get down to a reasonable size it’s a long wait. TBH it’s just not really worth doing it if you ever think you’ll want to go back to normal size, and if you’re adamant that you do want to try it, do both ears at the same pace, you don’t want to wind up lopsided.

(Speaking from experience)

Context ftw.
