Caryn “Hellchick” Law of Activision has sent along a note to update the masses on where they’re at with the upcoming full release of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Here’s the scoop:

We wanted to update everyone on Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory progress. Thanks to dedicated gamers and testers, we’ve been working on fixing bugs and other issues that have been uncovered in the recently released map test. We’ve also been following feedback in the community to help us address any balance issues. We’re in the final phases of testing and tweaking and hope to be ready to release the full, free, stand-alone game Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory early next week. I just hope this “golden” version is less laggy and has better voicechats, otherwise, opens wolf tactics

If the final release is worser than the test which i am very sure it wont be. I still wouldn’t go anywere near “wolf tactics” as it is everything i dislike in a fps which is just deathmatch going aroud with only fragging on your mind.
