Is there a Swastika texture. I cant seem to find it. If not, can you tell me where to find the RTCW version of the nazi flag

No there is not, because it is illegal to display in some places. The US version of RTCW SP might have one, but using that in ET would be illegal.

No, it’s not bull. IIRC, it’s illegal in Germany.

The UK SP version has them.

Hmm, illegal in Germany ? But neonazi use it all the time and nobody gives a shit bout that, so i think its just officially illegal, but unofficially people still use it :cool: But makin` swastika illegal in Germany looks like jew work. Yes. The image of the swastika is definitely illegal in parts of the world. I know SD has suggested in previous threads that people NOT use the image of the swastika, as it can offend some and is generally in bad taste. I would suggest just using the RTCW symbol, since it’s the Axis logo in the game.

Let’s not turn this into a hate thread. You can use whatever you’d like, but I would reccomend not using that symbol.

An RTCW mod I’m working on have replaced the RTCW logos with the “Iron Cross”.

this/any game is supposed to be phun… having the swastica symbol wouldn’t make it less fun for me but i can grasp what some ppl see in it and i really don’t care less if it’s a swastica or the wolf logo that zie axis g0ats are wearing when i’m shooting their ars3s :smiley:

They (Nazis) did all the bad stuff in the name of religion, etc.

They burned books to get rid of history that didn’t agree with the future they wanted to create. DON’T THEY UNDERSTAND THAT OUTLAWING THE SWASTIKA, OR OTHER HISTORICAL INFORMATION, IS THE SAME THING THE HITLER YOUTH DID?!

Edit: I’m a red blooded American, and even I see the idiocy in what they’re doing, and we as Americans have just as much of a right to be offended by the swastika and what the Nazis did, as the Jews have. Our boys gave their lives over there for years, to solve other people’s problems in the name of saving lives and preventing invasion, and we don’t outlaw some symbol that was turned into the insignia of nazi germany. It’s a little something called freedom.

The Swastika is illegal in Germany. Also stuff with nazi/3rdReich content is illegal. Thats why the german version of RTCW is censored and has a different background.

In the german RTCW-SP you have to fight a military group called ‘the wolves’ with the leader ‘Herr Höller’. All swastikas were removed and other content e.g. names, sounds were removed from the game. The RTCW-MP is the same in the german version.

The flag neonazis use in public is the ‘Reichskriegsflagge’ :

AFAIK this flag was used before the 3rd Reich by the military. A similar version was used by the nazis. With a red backgound and a swastika instead of the eagle.

Outlawing the swastika prevents our streets from neonazis carrying that symbol of crime and racism with them.

We don’t forget our history and the everything involved in it. It’s tought in school, it’s shown in tv-documentations and we have a lot of memorial places. When i was in school we read about five books about the third reich and the holocaust.
