I really hope they add the re-roll…because I felt like the angry German kid when I got CW and WTD knife loud outs

(Naonna) #82

Waiting on King of the hill or 5 capture-point maps. SD already proved they can do it as shown with terminal’s forward-spawn mechanic.

(bontsa) #83

Overall I am very surprised such nice mechanic like Forward Spawn has not been done in other Objective/SW maps too.

(Aazhyd) #84

When do we get results?

Have the responses finally slowed down enough?

(Faraleth) #87

@FireWorks still getting quite a few responses on a daily basis right now D: Maybe a couple more days and we’ll call it quits.

(Talak) #88

Hopefully the bigger issues of this game will be ameliorated. I want this game to succeed and last longer than a couple of years. Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory still has people playing it to this day 13 years later.

(Aazhyd) #89

I found myself playing a lot less DB in the new year. It looks like I have done just about everything and any new game is just more of the same. I merely keep playing to get daily bonuses, but I don’t even get them all each day.

This game needs new input. New maps and game modes.

(Glot) #90

it is not about new maps, but about good maps. the quality of the map is the key to longevity of the game.

(nimbleIsland) #91

Noooooo.

(Randomdeath) #92

(Nail) #93

if you look, there’s a whole thread on Aimee and Turtle on end screen

(FireWorks) #94

@Faraleth Are we there yet, mommy?

(Faraleth) #95

@Fireworks not yet! Still getting a few responses daily. In the next few days, we’ll likely call an end to it.

(FireWorks) #96

Are we talking numbers like 3-4 or dozens? A significant amount or just answers that cannot change any outcome anymore?^^

Gonna be honest here, if you guys add trading I’m just gonna stop playing DB

@Oleander first time I’ve seen any real opposition to trading, would you care to elaborate on why you don’t really want it in the game?

(SzGamer227) #99

(I personally love the idea of trading… playing devil’s advocate here)

The problem I foresee with trading loadouts between users is the the same problem with any online game that allows trade between users: It leads to spammy people who will publicly advertise trades they want to make to people who aren’t interested, and opens the possibility of “black market” exchanges of rare cards for money. There will be people who start advertising things like “GET COBALT CARD NOW ONLY $25 #$%spammycontactinfo^%$” which can get out of hand unless measures are taken to prevent it.

It would suck to have to put restrictions on card trades (i.e. limiting the trade of a Cobalt card solely in exchange for another Cobalt), but I also don’t want to see the trade system corrupted or annoying spammers with trade deals.

cough

Anyways, if trading is indeed added, I would expect there to be new forum sections implemented with the purpose of coordinating trades between users. There should be a “Want to Buy” forum where people ask for certain cards they are looking for, and a “Want to Sell” forum where people post any unwanted cards and work out trades with possible takers, both under a section labled “Trade” on the main forums page.

It removes the feeling of getting a special card by chance and knowing not many people have it.
