I was in one of those Fuel dump games where nothing happens. Tank has breached avery breachable wall, mines are promptly replaced after every explosion and I, as an engineer, destroy the fences sometimes, but never get to the FD as I’m alone. Of course, 4 or 5 CovOps in each team are mostly wasting time, etc etc… I suppose you’ve lived that around 50 times.
Well, at some point, in a moment of desesperation, I call: “I’m an engineer” “We need covert ops” and write, “Could any of the fucking snipers please satchel a wall?”. Then, in the most strange moment of illumination in my last week, every sniper come to the front door. The first one smokes and clears the mines with his body (Maybe our hero thought the mines wouldn’t explode if they couldn’t see him). And the other 3 go inside and erradicate every opposition (the mine replacing guy), including the fences. I walk in, alone, amazed, go to the FD covered by 3 teammates. I plant, and a satchel gently covers my dynamite. Soon, the game is won.
In Miyamoto Musashi’s terms, the opponent’s momentum was too strong to adjust to the change of rhythm. Or, They didn’t expect the opposite noobs to get into the game all at once.
For fucking God’s sake!! If they know hot to play propperly, why the fuck they played dumb for the first 20 minutes??
Do Cov Ops really need someone to tell them how to be useful for the team? I’m starting to believe they know well, but just don’t care. They enjoy playing their snipe game with human targets and forget about missions or teams.
Are we unknowingly into a “Silent Scope” game, as targets? Maybe the objectives thing is only to get targets to enter the server. Although if it’s so, this Silent Scope game is set in “Nightmare” or “You must be joking” difficulty, as a single unskilled medic can overrun a sniper without noticing.
