Summer Squash made my game worse

Really guys , I saw in the latest DB video of summer squash pt. 03 , soap said that 10% fps was gained. I usually play with 30-40fps but with this freaking shit update i get 20-15fps and serious drops to 5 fps. What the fk did u do with this devs. Instead of making this game less crappy , u guys made this into a shitload. Maybe its time to me to shift to paladins till this game fixes.

P.S. BTW whats the cause of all this fps drops. This game doesnt require that much of GPU horsepower. Even ACBF4 runs better than this and it is more GPU intensive game than this :’( :confused: :’(

EDIT - Now the framerate is somewhat fixed ( get ~30fps) What i did was changed win 7 theme to basic. (The Problem was low disc speed which made textures to load slower)

I must admit myself and plenty of others get worse frames than before. I am curious to know where this 10% average figure comes from.

My frames drop to under 20 fps sometimes. When I started playing this game drops below 60 were bad for me and very very rare.

I honestly have not noticed a difference myself. I have heard many people having a similar issue though. BananaSlug is right… The bug war never ends.
If you are that upset definitely take a break from DB. No reason to do something that makes you mad that much. Take a break. DB will still be here. :slight_smile:

Weird thing is that most people with decent rig are performing poorly, while players with potatomachines (including me) actually had more stable FPS than before

Can confirm. Before i always get more than 60 fps with some minor drop to 40 fps. Now, i’m struggling with constant drop to 40 fps all the time.

CHANGE THE THEME TO WINDOWS 7 Classic. Sometimes low disc space can cause fps drops ( like mine )

Have you guys considered fiddling with THREAD SYNC? Sometimes that setting gets reset after updates

Same here…so far I haven’t noticed anything different in performance, though I don’t really watch what my frames are at. But going by my naked eye and nothing else I haven’t noticed any issues.

Before I averaged 200 fps on 1440p, but today I noticed it maxes around 160 and dips to 90 at times.
While that still is very playable there definitely is a difference.

I will do some Fraps benchmarking this week to do some actual comparisons.

Everything resets for me after updates. All my graphics settings revert to medium (I play with everything on minimal) but nope, I still have exactly the same settings. Just worse FPS.

Yesterday I didn’t notice any major performance difference, but I did see that there was a difference and my FPS dropped even more.

However, today I noticed that the game is essentially unplayable for me at my normal graphics settings. Constant FPS drops/dips, stutters, tons of lag etc. Not sure what the hell happened.

strange. i guess results are different for many. I got somewhat the same fps but it feels way more consistent now. Less stutters and spikes. I really do appreciate the new update. Aside from many new bugs that appeared. Like mute not working and molotov not gibbing.

plus, the next update is going to be heavily focused on optimiaztion as well. The new directx program and map performance. Not much too worry aside from how long they will take.

This last update is a real joke, once again. I’v lost 50 fps on all maps. I had around 250-300, now I often go under 200. It’s still playable but 50 is a huge drop and I keep on losing frames on each update and next one is supposed to be optimization also. 50 more Frames loss ?

50 frames loss after optimization update on high end computer. Good job SD. :frowning:
