sum1 or splash, please help!! capital letters!?

I am really angry at the fact that you cannot (or seem to) be able to bind key to change your name, with capital letters appearing.
you would think that this very easily (to me) fixed bug hasnt been placed in a patch!

could sum1 PLEASE write a script or patch to FIX THIS!
