i’m having serious troubles with this topic because i can’t categorize it. i mean, i have a tendency to put it more into spam but it does fit as well into the “i don’t care” category. but as i’m replying here, the “i don’t care” category doesn’t fit either. i absolutely dunno where to put it

and why are they “returning”? how dare they ever quit?

Just because you don’t know who Suave is doesn’t make his post spam. If you don’t know where to catagorize it, perhaps you should just pass on by. There’s no requirement that you post in every thread…

Suave was/is a legendary NA competitive W:ET clan, back during the heyday of the Rotators, Fatal Attraction, etc. Perhaps you’ve heard of Seed, the hero of the now legendary NA vs EU match (part 1, part 2)? That wasn’t exactly a Suave match, but this is the caliber of player we’re talking about. These guys were inventing the strats that clans still use today, albeit modified and adapted to modern rules and settings. They helped make W:ET exciting by giving us newbies someone to admire and aspire to as players. Now that you know, I’m sure you’ll want to try and show the proper respect.

I’m glad to hear they’re coming to ET:QW. I have complete confidence that they will be a major force in the early organized competition in ET:QW game as well. It’s that sort of high-level competition that drives gaming, to some degree. Yes pubbing is fun, and many games survive just fine without league play. But having a strong competitive element gives a game a measure of credibility that it wouldn’t have otherwise. It’s teams like Suave who can be thanked for this. Even casual pubbers should admire and respect the top competitive players in their game.

But anyway they left W:ET …

well, there are people in life that i admire, but they are for sure no computer game players. and learning to play a computer game isn’t something that i aspire, i have better things to do. if anyone needs those things, fine by me. to show respect the first confrontation was a tad too arrogant for my taste, prolly because i missed the part where i should be impressed. and for what should i thank them? they don’t play ET anymore, i on the contrary still have my fun with it as well as other people

Only as long as you win CAL-O CoD2
Glad to see some people from that terrible game found these forums.
Is it gonna be the CoD2 roster coming over?
(It’s archileta, the wawa master.)

I don’t know how much of a driving force the team will be. They will definately be an enthusiastic team in the competition, but this is not the same Suave who played Wolfenstein. They are a phenomenol Call of Duty 2 team and you can expect a new enthusiasm from them.

You can expect a huge percent of the Call of Duty 2 community to be coming over to this game.

Arrogant? Who was arrogant? Damage? What the…? I am literally dumbstruck by your incomprehensible demeanor, Joe. Within this universe that you’re posting in daily, Suave are/were admirable. Nobody’s talking about real life, FFS. Stop being so afraid to enjoy something because it might make you look like a ghasp computer geek! Oh, the horror!

(B0rsuk) #11

Oh, that’s very important and will profoundly affect my ET:QW experience.
Now I only have to learn WTF suave is.

(Joe999) #12

are you Nobody? :moo:

(Sauron|EFG) #13

Even I have heard of suave. :stuck_out_tongue:

Clans playing QW will mean more servers (yes, even pub servers) and possibly a longer shelf life for the game, so a former top US ET clan intending to play QW should be interpreted as a good thing.

(DAMaGE) #14

thanks ouroboro!

it’s comments like that from gamers, like yourself, that keep us doing what we’re doing. thanks for the kind words!

(jimb0) #15

In other news, Gnorl will be returning to Puzzle Pirates. You’ve heard it here first.

(Nail) #18

I remember “Rico Suave”, pretty funny

(EB) #19

…nothing against you at all Ouroboro, but this is so lol.
I agree with the “level of credibility” statement but that statement above is just plane, ole’, “lol”.

(SniperSteve) #20

A clan that says they are one of the best… Worth a look I say.
