Strange graphics problem.

Hi everyone!
Few days ago I reinstalled my Windows 7. Installed Wolfenstein ET again. Before it I had no problems with the game, but after my reinstaliations I get one strange problem. All weapon surfaces are “mirrored” and ground surface is fully black! I saw this problem before only one time, when my friend installed ET on his eMachines notebook. But we did not know what to do and I do not know now. I have ATI Mobility Radeon 4500 card. Drivers (ATI Catalyst) were installed without any problems.
So I ask all you to help me and to offer some solution. Thanks.
P.S. I previously want to excuse for probably language problems 'cause I’m from Russia and English is not my mother-tongue.

As I can remember, I’ve had some serious problems with a Radeon card either.

Might try lowering your settings, especially your resolution.
I have no idea how you could fix it though…

Most likely a problem with your graphics card drivers / settings in catalyst.
Normally I’d say update your drivers, but if you’ve already done that, then I don’t know what you should do.

Thank you all.
Lowering settings and resolution gave no results. My notebook is enough powerful for ET so I suppose that this measures could not help. And they did not =)

Normally I’d say update your drivers

I updaited drivers again to the last version but this gave no results. You also told about settings in Catalyst Center. But what settings do you mean? I can just change some settings like gamma and colors, resolution and performance. But it does not help in any way.
The most strange in the problem is that in Windows 7 which was before I had no problems with ET. I had the same Catalyst driver, the same Radeon card, all the same but there were no problems.

As I can remember, I’ve had some serious problems with a Radeon card either.

Ok, but could you please explain me how did you fix this problems? If I understood you right, this problems were with ET or they were more global?

Sorry, I can’t recall the details. But I do know it got so ****ed up after a while not even my desktop could be displayed properly. So I bought a new one.

I only remember using very low quality settings

try disable catalyst ai

try disable catalyst ai

Thanks for advice but could you please explain how?
I may be mistaken but I don’t remember if ATI Catalyst Control Center has any AI…

try disable catalyst ai

All in all, I’ve found this AI in Catalyst center, but AI’s disabling did not help. Enabling and disabling other parametres did not help too. I really have no ideas about solutions of this problem.
