I was playing on Splash Damage’s Market-Garden server the other night, and kept getting TK’d by a friend of mine. We were using RogerWilco, and sometimes he would say he was sorry, but other times he didn’t know what I was talking about. At first I thought he was just screwing around, so I started taking screenshots of the complaint prompt, just to send him annoying attachments calling him a TKer, etc. (you know, like any good friend would). When I looked at one of them later, though, I noticed that, although the complaint prompt asks me if I want to file a complaint against him, the text at the top of the screen says I was killed by another player, who was on the other team. I have the screenshot, if anyone’s interested (I don’t have any web space to post it, though).
I’ve also noticed at times that I lose points without any message saying I’ve TKed; and sometimes when I run \stats I see that I’ve TKed without any indication of that during the round.
I contacted the Shrub team, and they had never heard of this. They did mention, though, that there is a more recent release of the mod than the one running on the SD MG server.
I’m not entirely sure if this is a Shrub problem, and it’s certainly not a Splash Damage problem (except that it happened on the SD server). If anyone has seen this before, please speak up. I’m also interested in opinions on how I should follow up on this bug.
