*Sticky Please!* Returning to 1.02 WITHOUT reinstalling

Simply run the 1.02 patch (see Downloads section of this site) again. It will state you don’t need the patch, but continue anyway. Haven’t tried this myself, a friend of mine has. He’s played in my 1.02 server so it must be OK.

or just grab the patch selector, by KillerWhale, from pcgamemods. Works like a charm
