Stat generator for Servers????

Ok Im looking for and wondering if there is a Stat Generator that works in Real time, that can be run on a server showing who is playing there scores and generating long term stats…

If not does anyone want to make 1;)

Ideas:-

  1. It adds Everyones EXP kills etc up everyday, then once a month resets to 0 and adds the Winning Player to a hall of Fame (or a more fair way Makes a Table of the Top 20-30 people with the higest EXP, for Example… I play a game (campaign) and i get 600 EXP and is the highest so i take up slot 1 then i play another campaign and get 800Exp so my 1st 600exp moves to 2nd place and the 800exp goes top

  2. Who has got the Highest Acc with each weapon

  3. Current players and Scores for the game at present

No No, im looking for a a program that does the stats in REAL time and auto updates on the website (you dont have to run a program at all once you have set it up)

Example: For you guys who have played CS and you type in /rank (on some servers) it says your rank/score/kills/deaths/ on the server… now i would like these stats to be shown on a webnpage somewhere…

I think you mean something like we have on our site, you need a plugin and a reg file (both on site), its a plugin thats written for Quake3 but works well for ET.

www.thelostparadise.com and then check “live info” in left menu.

I’m working on a serverside, real-time, stats-program. Currently it’ll only work on linux-servers running ET due to the fact that I’m using a FIFO-file to get the log from the ET-server. I haven’t checked out how well Windows 2k/XP does such things (if they support them at all). I’ll release more info when it’s functional (I started program this friday) :wink:

yes automatic update is possible (cronjob) , for the stast you should visit http://www.puregamer.com, but the original version isnt as good as ours :bump:

Just to let you know I have stop producing ET Stats. I have an internal version which is more up to date than whats on my site.

BTW I’m the one at http://www.puregamer.com

The first version is still their and could be used for real time stats with a few changes.

Is there a simple program doing this without the need of installing (and understanding!) mySQL? Or an easy n00b tutorial?

I’d love to set up a stat-page with per-player stats and a ranking.

it will also support custom maps.

i am also working on a system to get live ingame screenshots from punkbuster for a “pic of the moment” type thing.

just to clear up any confusion, we did look at AWOL’s code to scrape the layout, thats why they look similar. but under the hood ours is a perl script front end that parses xml data from a quake3 server query tool.

SenDep7, I tried to connect to the #Technolust-6 map (209.94.128.81:27961) server using both my patched and unpatched exe. In either case I get an incompatible version error. ANy ideas why this is happening. I also dont see the server listed in either server browser so I have been using the connect to I.P. function.

we are running unpatched (waiting for shrub to update), all i can say is make sure you have downloads enabled, as for the server not showing up on the list when i went to confirm this no servers were showing up. keep trying, and make sure you are connecting to the right port as we run a quake 3 server on the defualt port.

Still no luck. I am certain that I’m using the right IP, and I have tried numerous times throughout the day. I cannot connect with either the patched or unpatched install, and as I said before, the server does not show up in the server browser but all the others do. I’m using the connect to IP to find it but can get as far as the load screen before getting the error message.

Strange. I’ve never had any problem like this before…
