Well it would probably turn into one of these crazy games, where he kills your whole base with planetary, and you kill his base with the stalkers you hopefully did not suicide into the planetary before ^^ Then he would long distance mine from your base, where you would probably save 400 minerals to rebuild your base elsewhere.
Starcraft II
I have one game where I spotted him trying to go for the gold expansion at metalopolis so I quickly placed a pylon underneath the landing site, and another one to make him land really far away from it.
Ok note to myself: Planetary Rush is actually valid ^^ (but only in teamgames). Today got victim by that (not me personally, but my teammate got stomped). Funny thing is: even he pulled a probe, along with me, tp prevent the cc from landing, however, there were some unexpected stalkers disturbing the scene ^^
Kinda funny, that this could be valid in a 4v4 … depends on the map i guess (we played megaton = huge plateu with all spawning together).
Really interesting article on the development of a professional tournament map
Proxy where ? To block his barracks from going up ? Well put it to the low ground, make 2 rax, a bunker or two beside your proxy = game over ?
A sad thing though that i did not save one of these crazy teamgames i had in the last times. There was really some crazy s…, but i didn’t save the replays
I have one 1v1 i could send though, maybe he can cast

I do the hatchery wait a bit, cancel it and plant an evolution chamber on the creep. That way he can’t wall off and sits with a ticking time-bomb in his entrance while my lings would be waiting outside.
Lol and now Reddit is completely buzzing about the zerg drop-style play by Liquidseth at the MLG today. I’m sooo ahead of the curve
lolol Zerg Drop Style Play is a pure commitment. You have to spend 100/100, and like 200/200 for both, speed and drop ? LOL.
I’d rather have infestors for this, with upgrade. Maybe for a late late late laaaate game alternative strat. Seth probably played this against some newb, like Incontrol, who did a carrier strat in game 2 of his first game at MLG. He almost dropped out of the bracket
Actually Zenio did that at IEM kiev on that same map vs Kas
gg btw the commentator made me lol

That’s too simplified. You get about two whole infestors for the same price man (ignoring the cost for an infestation pit). The drop tech is a one-time investment which means you can keep the rest of your army low-gas (roach ling).
Teching to drop is so powerful because your opponent simply doesn’t see it coming. It doesn’t require tech structures, it can’t be scouted and the overlords don’t give visual cues either. Suddenly they zoom across the map dropping units all over the place.
The ovie speed is the visual clue which you got in that game.
Most terrans would use a single viking for the pure purpose of denying scouting, this usually gets spotted.
just my 2 cents
