But I already spent my monay on GW2 ;o. I still was sure that the SEA version allowed for cross-continent play.

Here’s a random build I just made up today- first attempt so totally unrefined ofc. I pretty much never cheese or use complicated timing builds on ladder, but I was bored and decided to test something out. The object of this build is to surprise your opponent with the power of super early immortals (vs pretty much anything). The opening doesn’t force you to actually commit to it until scouting, so it’s an optional all-in. Video explains itself- I think that 4gate is probably better, but this build was never identified; A well timed scan on double gas might make them think Voids maybe.

EDIT: I dug a bit and found that Socke did something similar in 2010, but I don’t think I’ve seen this kind of thing anywhere else :o. At least I don’t feel like it’s all fail now though :D!

I did it once because the toss guy walled himself completely in so I could just build right outside his base. Against terran it’s a bit of a gamble though, if he’s going all-marine then you’re toast.

Statistically that’s true, but at a low marine count this early in the game (not always stim either) Immortals will absorb most of the dps. (I saw that in Sockes game the terran went pure marine- but you won’t see the impact until they really mass up)

Their goal seems to give players more control in the outcome of big battles. In big battles the micro often matters less and it feels chaotic. Now the player can dictate the battles with really broad strokes (mothership core, abudction, and the warhound’s anti-mechanic focus).

Oh and I’m definitely going to sneak a proxy nexus with a mothership core into my opponents base.

I don’t know how much I like the ideas of most of the new units. I don’t see them really adding micro to battles at all lol. It almost seems as though terran will quickly become the weakest race haha. Why couldn’t they have some better players for the show match? Makes no sense.

My first impression: P seems a bit OP now lol…so many possibilities. Already now P has alot of those. And if i see the Tempest 1 shoting tanks, that is just lol.

For Terran: yeah, units look extremely unsexy! :smiley:

For Z units. Hm, seems ok to me. Viper is the one grabbing units i remember, so Viper might give some more possibilites.

EDIT: i now see the 'Mlg stream. They mentioned beta came out today. So can i play this too ? Anybody has some hints to how to get a beta key or whatever i need ??

Invite based on how actively you’ve been testing the arcade beta. I think the arcade is a bit of an empty addition and I really didn’t feel like wasting my time on it just to get a HotS beta.

Cheers! I Don’t see them entering in on roaches though.

As for the widow mine, I see the guy in the replay trying to isolate the tagged unit and make it move as far away from the main group as possible. Wouldn’t it be much easier to just kill that unit?

It may be in the other video, but basically they want to steer zerg away from going mass roach off fast 3 bases vs protoss.
