Stalemate?

(Angel1) #1

Im not sure if this has been asked but im wondering if the game is so finely balanced will it be possible to have a stalemate situation happen where both sides really dont gain anyground?

odd question i guess but was just a thought running through my mind (it was very lonely).

how do you mean? all games have this situation - its always possible to over-power a team and contain them in one location. plus its not a case of shifting back and forwards. The attacking team can only progress, never fall back.

I’m betting that it will be as it was in W:ET. Defending team wins if attacker fails. A few dual objective maps were created that could result in a “tie” or “overtime”, but these were user made maps.

would be nice to have the option to end a match in a draw so if any duel objective maps are made then they dont have to go on forever or award to victory to a random team

the concept of stalmat could exist as part of a map that then effected the next stage of the map meaning if one team wins the duel objective stage of the map they are given the edge in the next stage could make some interesting clan matches

Isn’t that why the maps have time limits? I personally prefer stalemates to one team owning the other… it makes you try that little bit harder to get a slight edge.

A stalemate = def team wins.

To break a stalemate you have to use teamwork and tactics.
