Could Splash Damage add it to the next patch? Stabbing lost half of it’s fun without the meeeeh :confused:

The bani-mod is totally lame but it would be extremely cool to hear the llama sound when you knife-kill an enemy :clap:

if you use the menus the game insults you, thats what he was going for. But seriously, the game insulted you in Doom, Wolf, and Quake. its not exactly some self-esteem killer like you make it seem like

no, it’s not. but given a choice between insult and not, i’d choose not.

i get enough insults from the 10 year old twits on the servers with their potty mouths and 1337 attitudes.

What really pissed me off was the RTCW mod which when you “v22” on spawn said “Of course you need ammo! How about I take some away?” and reduces your ammo. Cheers you stupid piece-of-crap game, you know better than I do whether or not all the lieutenants on this server are n00bs who won’t give ammo unless you ask for it, do you?

I doubt the goat sound would be a good idea in ET. There’s a lot more stabbing going on in ET because of the covert ops, so in some games you would hear it every few seconds which would get annoying very quickly. It doesn’t fit into the whole ww2 atmosphere anyway.

I like the llama sound. While it does give away a stabbing death, there is already a specific sound for that, so I don’t think it gives away much and it’s pretty damn funny IMO.

Taking ammo away if you use the I need ammo voice come within 5 seconds of spawn is an optional shrub feature that works really well on the big pub servers. Hearing 20 people spam I need ammo gets really old really quickly. On smaller servers I don’t think it’s as big a deal and it is an optional feature.

Well those same pub servers tend to be full of players who don’t give ammo unless you really prod them hard for it. So the feature doesn’t work “really well” at all.
