whether he quit for personal reasons or not … his character is kicked out of the series. for me he was the reason not to watch sg1. r d anderson neither is funny nor an actor.

MacGyver was the shit, he could make a nuke bomb out of a can, dirt, and some pop rocks! LOL

That movie sucked hardcore.
I watched the first 30 minutes or so then played some ET.
Some really bad writing there. They started out alright, giving a glimpse into the character backgrounds of some of the main players, but then seem to rush ahead. You get introduced to the Allies ‘team’ like your supposed to be impressed, but with no backstory on the characters mentioned before this they just seem superficial. I woudnt be surprised if this was written as it was filmed.
The action sequences with the Doomtrooper were pretty lame also. He would come at the allies firing while they move, and then all of a sudden stop while the allies have 5 minutes to plan something behind the cover of a corner… guess they fed the monster some downers or something and it got easily confused.
They should have made the thing look more realistic and less like a gray Hulk, shown it less often to add to suspense, and worked on the background of the characters so you really cared when they were in trouble.
