Splash Damage recruiting!

(EB) #101

I do this with everygame.

(jb) #102

Applied about a week ago. Haven’t heard anything back as yet though. Is there a different e-mail address I should be using instead of jobs@splashdamage.com?

Thanks

(SniperSteve) #103

Oh my!

Hmm… I suppose I could relocate to London for half a year…
(I wish)

(PDK) #104

I’m also trying to apply, but got an error message back from their mailer daemon. Looks like their mailserver system is a bit broken, which may be the reason why you haven’t got a reply back yet.

(jb) #105

Thanks PDK. Can any mods here confirm?

(Smooth) #106

I sent mine on the 23rd August. So it’s been a week. Albeit a week with a Bank Holiday weekend in the middle.

I decided I’m going to pop down and hand in/post an application myself anyway.

(Salteh) #107

Hand in where, the post box? Afaik the office address isn’t on the site :moo:.

(PDK) #108

Posted mine, to the PO Box address listed on the front of the jobs page, on the 17th of August since the email address wasn’t working at the time. Should I wait on that, or attempt emailing again?

(digibob) #109

You can always PM Wils or I, or any of the other more regular posters if you are having mail/email problems, I’m sure one of us will be able to help you out. Just make sure to give us as much information as you can in order to speed up the process.

(Smooth) #110

I sent a first email on the 23rd Aug asking about the specifics that I should include in an application, I got a reply for that last Friday 1st Sept. I emailed my application later that day.

If I don’t have a reply by the end of this Friday could I just PM one of you (Wils/digibob) the entire application email, or should I post it myself on Monday?

(digibob) #111

Send me a PM with which position it was for, and your name and I’ll try and check up on that.

(strangelet) #112

Ahh well. i applied for Artist in febuary and I never got any replies. don’t suppose you could check up on THAT could you?

Itsa shame seen’s i’m so wicked at it :frowning: it seems to be a curse 'pon my house that anything i’m good at is exponentially oversubscribed as a career choice (art/music/general creativity) … Logic follows that i’m no good at serving fries.

Oh well, a curse at a storm never did any harm - HIRE ME, SWABS!
Ye shan’t regret it. plus I live down the road from you anyhow.

(Salteh) #113

That’s an awesome forum post, sir / pirate!

(strangelet) #114

it is? we’ll see. if it was that awesome they’ll hire me. or at least tell me where to get off.
