Splash Damage Official NEWS !!!

Hi people, I don’t want to appear to be a moaner or anything and I appreciate that Splash Damage are creating a quality game blar blar blar. And it’s done when it’s done.

But, it would be really good of them to give the community some kind of official update of how the game is coming along and also a possible release estimate. Originally the game was set for release last October I believe then it was set back to Q1 07, now there’s talk of summer. The hype from this game has everyone on itching for it. Everyone but everyone want to get there hand on this game. Including any kind of demo (Pre Alpha or Beta we don’t care) in the meantime.

Come on splash Damage. Give us the official news on ET:QW

Well, say what you like guys. I’m only asking what everyone really wants to know. When is the game coming out? Give us an update.

If you really had no interest in the game then you wouldn’t be here or in the IRC. I have defiantly got an interest in the game and really can’t wait to get my hands on it. Asking a question like any chance of an update isn’t a crime. And as for you lot who flame people for asking the question (you also really want to know the answer to).is rather sad and isn’t as cool as you think. Pretending you’re not interested when the game coming out isn’t going to get YOU the game any quicker.

Personally I think there quite a bit of sucking up going on in these forums and on IRC to get a closed beta key or what ever you think you’re going to get out of it.

Personally I’d rather just ask the question.

nashslash, imagine SD would give you July 25th 2007 for the release date… something breaks, digibob deletes some parts of the code, Locki forgets the keys to the office, whatever… it’ll get delayed and people will blame SD for lying to the fans.

It’s not about sucking up, it’s reality… I rather have an unknown date than a monthly “et:qw delayed again” news post… but what do I know anyway…
