year of linux destop ? who care about desktop ? FLOSS ? GNU ? FSF ? (nobody anyway f involved in linux, care about “desktop”, except m shurtleworth, maybe. ALREADY having in on desktop)
moreover i can tell you TRUTH - there was Decade of Linux desktop, not just “year”. and welcome to it, already.

its “fail” so hard, so practically led to Linux domination virtually anywhere - from embedded devices to consumer electronics[from phones and TV to microwaves and airplanes], let alone, desktop presence, nobody care about which.

For Brink, the programmer structure evolved as the projected moved on. The final structure is:

Tech Dir - Arnout
Lead Programmer - Deano (me)
Lead Core Programmer - Gordon
Lead Gameplay Programmer - Dann
Lead Tools/Net/UI Programmer - Jared

I’m now in the process moving into a different role at Splash Damage, so we’re looking for a new Lead Programmer to take up my mantle.
