well thats me out. I cant draw to save my life, even my matchstick men
look like they need medical attention :frowning:

(iwound) #3

Still no tea lad jobs then.

(.Chris.) #4

I wouldn’t mind applying for the Level Design position but not at this moment in time, maybe in few years time after got more experience and worked on a few mods as I’ve only ever mapped/worked on my own plus I come from a completely different working background. (Heating Engineer)

would not mind the 3d modeling job but I lack the 3 years exeriance and working on one AAA title just made some games at school with my friends.

Hello Forum,

recruiting for Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars or any other title?

(cheesecake) #7

From the jobs available looks like its going to be a new title because QW is in the beta testing stage so its just tweaks and bug fixes there.

(murka) #8

well some of the et:qw maps might need “environmental artist” help. beta doesn’t always mean that you can’t make a big change, take fueldump for example, they remaked the center part(tunnel) to make a big change in performance.

it’s a pity that tere are so few game developers in germany - if there would be any in my area (that are really working here, not only having their office here) I’d have written an application ages ago - not for mapping but coding though

“Splash Damage is Recruiting!”

awww…i thought it was for the clan

(murka) #11

it is much better, as you can do something in the game besides playing but i guess everyone likes to play more than make it, i prefer making maps to playing them.

(TTK-Bandit) #12

If you are ever looking for a junior programmer, call me, I’d work for food and a place to sleep on your team

(General.Jung) #13

Hello Forum,

i hope thats not a sign, that the release will be more delayed than now.

(Joe999) #14

no, mostly because you can’t delay “unknown”. well, in fact you can, but “cancelled” or “end of the world” are rather unlikely, although i wouldn’t put my hand into the fire for the latter.

(General.Jung) #15

Hello Joe999,

i think, i did not make my self clear. For when is Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars unknown?

(kamikazee) #16

Receiving you as loud and unclear as before.

And btw: “when it’s done” still means the release date is unknown.
