Um yeah pretty much. It means it’s good for only a few players. You are one of them. It has potential which is the only reason I stick around. Hoping SD wakes up and fixes the game. Spread and party lobby system being the top 2 issues. I don’t want the game to die but at this rate it will.

You can say that Brink is a waste of money, that’s your choice. But don’t point the finger and try to shift the blame because you feel bitter and disappointed over a purchase, when the only person to blame is yourself.

So if only a few people think a game is good, it isn’t actually good? Isn’t this just getting into semantics? The way I look at it, games are one of those things where the phrases like “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” or “one man’s junk is another man’s treasure,” applies.

It doesn’t have to be a huge blockbuster success, with high review scores across the board and hundreds of thousands to millions of people playing online at any given time, to be considered “good.” If someone likes a game, regardless of player numbers, reviews or its flaws, it’s still good, at least to them.

I guess we forgot PC players are the only ones whose opinions matter. We try to spread the positive things, you guys just troll the same negative things 24/7. Someone here is being delusional… I dont think its the ones playing the game, having fun and trying to improve the game and community…

Its the ones spamming the forums with the same garbage day in and day out trying to convince everyone that they shouldnt be having fun and that somehow this game or that game is sooooooooo much better and how Brink should be more like that game… Maybe if you would just embrace Brink like many have… but that would mean admiting youre wrong… something you and many others dont know how to do and wouldnt even consider doing…

Pretty much you kind of players are ruining these forums, there is no where for FANS of this game to gather and speak their minds without being spammed with hate posts, if you got beef EMAIL the devs and let them know, leave the forums for FANS and those trying to be constructive about the game.

Funny how mods protect those bashing the game and the devs yet they come down on those backing up the game and trying to stop all the negativity towards it.

There are quite obvious PC threads and quite obvious console threads, should we not speak about what we want to speak about because YOU don’t like it? I seem to find more console players giving their veritable 2cents in the PC threads than I’ve seen PC players chipping in on the console discussions. The problem is, those ‘bashing’ the game are giving their reasoning for it, those ‘defending’ (like yourself) add absolutely nothing but emotional driven retorts and reply with nothing but opinionated bias and name calling because you have no basis or evidence to counter the points… it’s not even a debate, its a point given, and reply of “Well you suck!”. Keep your emotions at bay, and reply with factual info and prove your point instead lowering yourself to the standards of a stroppy teenager not liking what he’s hearing.

If you want your own home, go make a fansite with forums, that’s what we do with games we like and want to speak with like-minded people.

Typical response… It way easier to pick apart all the reasons you dont like something as opposed to all the things you like… NO ONE here claims this game is perfect or couldnt be improved but its almost impossible to discuss those things with some of the people around here. Every problem with the game is more likely then not blown WAY out of proportion. Rather see people being too kind to the game and others outing its flaws then people totally trashing almost everything about it and people feeling the need to defend every aspect of the game…

Not to mention how many people holding all these older games on a golden throne claiming they were god gift to gaming and as close to perfection as we will ever see when its obvious these days that they are old and outdated games that lack many of the common improvements of basic gameplay that many of todays even crappy games have… All those games have over Brink is a place in your heart. Brink isnt trying to be them or any other game. Brink is a new breed, and many of us find it to be just what we have been looking for, and we want to see this game go somewhere and become something, so we support it and enjoy it for what it is.

Take a step back and look at yourself for a second, you’re getting bent out of shape over discussions that don’t concern you. The PC players are discussing the PC version, in no way what so ever is it being suggested that any of the changes we desire should be universal and deployed across all platforms. What do you care if the PC version is changed to cater to the PC crowd? That in no way affects you what so ever. You’re not a PC gamer, so you have no clue about the discussions that are happening or the reason for them, so please stop pretending that you do.

If you can’t contribute from a factual stance or using knowledge gathered from experience, then don’t… the discussions descend into arguments because of people like you giving their uneducated opinion on a platform they know nothing about.

To OP, PC players were there from the start and discussed the game since 2 years, console playaz came here at release to moan about their freaking lobby system, destructing the forums with noob repetitive threads every 5 minutes… So dont reverse the fault here. It is weird, place was quiet and with a good spirit (some bashing but allways argumented), and since the console crowd came it’s becoming a mess, yet it’s pc player’s fault?

Ah, at least it made me laugh a bit, go make your subforum and dont get hit by the door on your way out, I’ll gladly help you out.

as to why people arnt playing brink on PC whatever, people like old games on pc the top games on steam are like 5-years old or more meh.
