That’s nice that you like the game, others don’t like… learn to live with that fact, cos it’s not going away.

as to why people arnt playing brink on PC whatever, people like old games on pc the top games on steam are like 5-years old or more meh.

You’ve got no idea why the PC players aren’t playing it, cos you’re not a PC player.

i feel entitled to join pc discussions, as a while back i had a gaming computer, but when i see people just trollin the console players it puts me up in arms, they wont say much to get a violent response from the people YOU backup without questions.

Absolutely no idea what to make of that one, was like random words thrown together to try and create something resembling a structured paragraph. But let me guess, are they trolling the console players that decide to derail a PC thread? You deserve all you get.

good example would be right here in these forums, you like these trolls that call people dick heads for no reasons? wow really? you back-up all these people that just give out verbal trash, atleast i generally give facts i dont just “it sucks cause no SDK”-- sorry for you no point in talking about it, not like i havent seen this a million in a half times or “free DLC wil kill the community” obviously they never tried marketing or took a business class.

im sorry i didnt troll when i started, i just started trolling a couple of days ago when i realized MOST pc users do.

im not saying all of them, i think the guys that have been here for awhile are pretty cool, they were before they tried to defend the morons that have been showing up the past couple of days.

im sorry if this wasnt the game you where looking for, many things you want cant be fixed and you deal with it or you leave.

the pc players i have problems with are the ones making new accounts by the droves lately like
(ill get back to you with some names here in a sec. for example TWixX and this Trixxy and burawa and stonefireplace.)0the fact that there are WAAY more trolls from the pc community is just outstanding, but the main thing i hear is why isnt anyone playing this on pc?? thats because there is no forum support, ALL the pc players have been doing as of late is just been saying why this game sucks and they dont put ANY facts. well sorry but saying something sucks with no fact or a wall of tect trying to make you look smart, whilst just hiding the fact you are still saying this game sucks is a mindless ramble, and you lose alot of credibility.

You must be reading different forums from me, most have been giving exact reasons why they don’t play.

Back to my original point, what do you care? The PC side affects you no way what so ever, the threads I’ve read that have derailed usually have you at the centre of them. The way I see it, if you keep your nose out they would be perfectly fine.

A lot of the issues players have on PC, are based on the design. And unfortunately, when a developer decides there needs to be “gameplay parity across all three platforms” - the PC side suffers. Thats pretty much what it boils down to.

Thats not to say though, that SD wouldnt have created the exact same game if it was PC only (highly unlikely). But you can be sure, if they went back in time knowing what they do now - it simply wouldnt be the same game.

Xbox players should love the game. It was practically designed for them.

ill read them, and i always see trolls, twiix and trixxy fireplace in particular blow my mind with erratic stupidity and that guy that just posted ^^^is a total derailer. i dont derail as often as people give me credit for. its mainly the same idiots, if this thread wasnt especially aimed at you i dont see why you have to come and totally derail frag and trtoll each thread (not you, as dauk in particular but as in the group of people)

i really dont know, but when i see morons posting the same crap every day you dont find that tiresome? i want my old forums back where everyone had a respectful aire to them (even me) but the new wave of posters here are just in general trolls.

i have to admit some do say why they quit but most, no given reason, no given fact. just garbage talk.i will spend a couple of days on the sidelines see if this cools down.

as for why people put wolf under the scope i have no idea. he has only put smart things, just because he disagrees intelligently and supports the game doesn’t mean he deserves the short end of the sword. he is just another target from the large pool of pc trolls (IE mors tua comes to mind)

I was going to add this to another thread but i’ll put it here. You and wolfnemesis defence of Brink is noble and justified, when it comes to shooters on the console then yes, Brink is showing new depth and dimensions that no other console shooter has provided to date… this is your 1st proper taste of class-based objective driven shooters, it’s fresh and exciting, it’s away from the standard TDM games and I understand why you love it.

But what you need to remember is that this isn’t our 1st taste of this type of game, our 1st taste came 10 years ago and other games have been released between then and now. We were just as giddy about RtCW back then as you are about Brink now. We have a basis for comparison, we know what worked and what didn’t, what we like and what we don’t like, and what’s driving us away from a genre we used to love.

All you have to go on is Brink and that’s it, I don’t know of any game on the console you can compare it to, so you haven’t tasted anything sweeter. Many reasons have been given for comparison, and I hate to be a broken record here but you seriously don’t have the insight to comment from our perspective. Let the PC players whine in their own threads, and don’t derail it any further than it needs to.

not really he just reiterates the same things, as do i, we are both walking in circles. i just don’t see why people go out of the way to back up idiots. IE the really bad mouthed people that talk the garbage because they cant have EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANTED.

let me put it this way, if the game never got sdk it will be the same as it is currently, if you wont play it now without it, it will likely never get it, so will you continue playing or will you just stay here to whine? i personally love the game and would play it without the ability to mod (yes even if i had the power)

Oh, but you didnt get the fact that I didnt purchase the game yet… No need for that as I knew it wont fit my taste, and I never “trolled” neither “whined” in my posts. I just discussed about the game based on reviews people made, I’m calm, I dont know why I wouldnt be calm…

I get angry about the posts here, not the game itself, and if you look at my history I allways be harsh toward SD because i feel that they didnt eard us when we said that the game wont be as good as they claimed it to be, for numerous reasons, which many people discussed already since 2-3 years. Bethesda is to blame here as the game is consolized, you can argument all the way over, thats a plain fact if you look at their previous titles…

Anyway I’m not here to bash the game or the dev, I just know I wont enjoy it, for the simple facts that its slow, clumsy and the spread is too high (I come from SoF2,Q3,W:ET,ETQW) period.

I bashed the trolls wayyyyyy more than you did since I’m here, so once again do not reverse the tables here, I never backuped a moron, but you have to aknowledge that sometimes you will see people as “morons” while they infact, just have different point of you than yours. And by experience I saw that many times you enter a thread, it goes down… it’s not even a point of view here, it’s simple observations, you get the conclusion you want from that…

Now about the OP, yes subforums would be good for everyone, as clearly we cant talk about a platform we dont know right? Why do you care about the SDK as you wont have access to it anyway? If they (beth and SD) let the game die for PC users so be it, but they’ll clearly lose some pretty hardcore customers in the process, it’s a company decision, I have nothing to say about it.

Simply ignore the belligerent fool. People like him have nothing better to do than to antagonize anybody that voices their concerns about the game. You’d think that they would be playing the game since they are so in love with it instead of wasting their time on these forums and attacking anybody that they come across.

I wont buy it yet, ATI problem anyway and I wont fix my hardware, i’m fine with ETQW for the moment and I think that after this time i wont play any fps anymore so I dont really care, trust me I expected brnik to be my new big game, I would even have make the ultimate effort of installing steam… But here its too clumsy, and none of my friends are playing (well, almost), I’m too lazy / busy for competition and I know I wont have the patience to play in pub, so its a NO-NO situation for me!

ETQW FTW I say!
