Someone PLZ help me out

Hello, I cant figure this out and so far no one else can either. Hopefully i can here. Im not a newb, but im going insane with this.

I can’t steal cloths, i dont even get the flashing icon for it. I have reinstalled many times, used keybinds and default. I can pick-up and drop weapons with my action key. I know how to do it ( hold down action button). I hold it down for as long as possible, but nothing happens. I see ppl doing it all the time,flashing icon, meter moving etc. I have never been able to do it and it is really driving me nutz.
I have downloaded the game from 3 different places, used the demo disk from PC gamer. But still, I CAN"T STEAL CLOTHS.

Any help would be appreciated, i havent heard of anyone with this problem :bash:

Sorry man but you HAVE to be a noob, the guy above did NOT flame, he was merely trying to help and you post this in a mapping forum, I think you’re either a complete noob internet-wise or a complete fool in general.

This is merely my opinion and could indeed be wrong, so there is NO need to get annoyed and start a war over it.

I also agree with the “make sure the guy on the floor is properly dead” thing, NOT sitting waiting for a medic.

And be sure you chose covert op as class, it’s the one with the little target. rightmost icon.

Then crouch over an enemy corpse. If you don’t see a jacket icon, he is either still a little alive (“finish him!”) or you are not a covert ops. If you see the jacket icon, press the action button (It’s the one you use to open the rear door to the beach in Battery or to get into the tank) and keep it pressed, if you don’t see a blue bar growing as when building something with an engineer, you have bound the action button strangely, but this should not be possible, as you reinstalled the game many times.

If it still doesn’t work (try the rest before) change keys to default.

And one final addition: Aim for his testicles. No I’m not a pervert, it’s simply that the collision boxes around dead players isn’t perfect and you’re best results will always be gained from aiming for the very centre of the dead body.

I always thought Cov Ops were a bunch of benders anyway, notice they are interested in the unconscious guys bottom half only, where his little love truncheon is kept. Doirty Divils.
