Yes, we are still working on bots, and as i speack about them, we have a bug at this time and we make all we can to resolve it.

glad to hear about continue developement on the bots, I’m looking forward to them…alsoooo I read somewhere on another post when someone said about creating new eapons you can’t actually add any new weapons till animation tools are released and the full source code is given out so are these weapons just goin to swap with the current images?

We can make what we want with ET, i read in some others forums about us, my team, and said that bots were may be fake. We have the ET SDK so we can do and make what we want.
Also, i know i dont speack and write in a good english so that all people could understand me but, bots are not fake, there are real, i dont say that for you Fusen, but for others people who believe that our bots are false.

In resume, our team make bots and a mod call ET : Realistic War. In this mod, we will add news weapons, like BAR, Gewehr 43, MG 42, MG 34, Kar98k and other weapons. We will modified some details from the original ET, create 2 classes more : Artillery and sniper.
We will make the medic less powerfull.
All questions and all ideas are welcome, and i will do my best to answer to all in good english… humm i hope :slight_smile:

Bring on teh ET:TF someone? :smiley: Tbh tho, would be quite decent… if only the Wolftactics team could’ve made WT for ET and it would have been at least three times as popular and mightve taken off imo. :o

In Fact we have splitted the original soldier class into two new classes:
Infantery guy and artillery gunner.

The GI now act as fire support with medium weapons such MG42/MG34 or .50 cal/Bar 1918 and his new skill is “Fire Support”. Except for the bar usage, the GI have two weapons MG42/MG34/.50 cal that must be deployed somewhere before to be used and a simple rifle (garand/kar98) for defense. If the bar is used, the GI doesn’t have a second weapon. Deployed weapons are damageable by both team and must be repaired by engineers. When the GI is killed after weapons deployement, he respawns without this deployed weapon, and he must retake it. Deployed weapons can’t be moved by other players classes but can be used like any static MG42 in the original game.

The artillery man still the heavy weapons use but with a very different manner. In fact the gunner must deploy a gun (Mortar, heavy mortar or cannon) somewhere on the ground and use temporary shelling zone indicated by the field ops for tactical combat or permanent shelling zone indicated by the cover ops for strategical combat.

We have also splitted in two classes the original cover ops: cover ops for real infiltration and the sniper for covering fire. The new cover ops classe is now really a spy and never loose his disguisement when he fire. His main mission still infiltration and light destruction, but now he can also indicate shelling zone used by the gunner. The opposite cover ops can also discover these shelling zones and remove them.

After many ET war, we have also decided to push back the medic to his main mission: MEDIC. I’m sure that like us you have seen to many players using this classe to be the best fragger. Now our medic with his simple rifle and limited ammos stock , can continue to frag but with most of risk. Other players must protect him to be revived!

The next screenshoot release we will provide a better quality!

I’m sorry, I’ve taken these screenshoot with my games config and I use my Photoshop to build jpeg file with a bad ICC profile.

I confirm that without source u can’t add new weapons only just replace one by another, but as said Tiger, we have sources under NDA and we can do all that we want. It’s sure for the moment that weapons attachement are linked with the existing players anims. But in next time we will adapt and add new players anim.

U can read in another topic that a guy did some reverse engeenering on MDX/MDM file format and have successfully reskined players models.
