Some love for FLetcha?

I really love the idea behind the aggressive engineer, who owns sticky bombs to use them as a traps.
But seriously he lacks alternatives when it comes to weapons.
I have a crappy shotguns, that doesn’t stand a chance in the competitive gameplay since they lack versatility.
From the other hand the black horse of this game The Blishlok, which feels awkward to use, because of the fire-rate.
Just a different smg, anything but not the bloody Blishlok, would make this character so much better to play.
Any thoughts or plans to do it?

Giving fletcher an SMG other then the Blish will make him OP in my opinion, He has the empire 9 which is an SMG (not a machine pistol dont let them fool you) Use the stickies as primary and the empire as the secondary the shotguns aren’t really the primary.

If you want an aggressive engineer to just set traps with then Proxy is your girl. Sticky bombs are so much more than just traps, though they can be used for that. They are your primary, essentially. Stickies > empire 9 > shotgun. Use your shotty to finish people off and to play corners. Use your machine pistol to engage people in most situations.

Long story short, no matter how great Empire-9 is, it doesn’t stand a chance against a proper SMG. Not to mention that if you say that having different smg will make him OP, you just said that Blislok is underpowered as a SMG weapon, which is really sad.

1st. One sticky then empire is pretty much enough to kill everyone except rhino (which is 2 stickies)
2nd. The blish is not underpowered, It just requires more skill then the SMG9 or crotzni making it less then useful if you cant aim at heads.
That said if you can then that is probably one of the best SMG’s.

Pretty sure people that use Fletcher alot are only looking for one thing. A sticky bomb fix.

I don’t know OP, all I want are my stickies fixed to stop disappearing on occasion, and for Lock On to be replaced with Quick Draw on all applicable loadouts.

I don’t really care for better primaries, when I have an Empire-9 and 100 damage a throw sticky bombs - and that’s the skill of Fletcher, learning to use your stickies as your primary weapon.

This in turn lets you be far more lenient with your actual primary, you could run any of the three and it wouldn’t really matter a huge deal.

I see, maybe i am doing something wrong using my primary weapon to shoot people down instead of spaming them with my sitckies.

Don’t underestimate the Blishlok. It can be very good at higher ranges where your Empire 9 won’t be accurate enough. Actually Empire-9 and Blishlok completes each other very nicely : a high damage per bullet but low RPM SMG with the highest RPM weapon in the game : it works very well. Especially if you have Quick Draw in your loadout (BL33). :stuck_out_tongue:

Because Empire-9 and Blishlok works so well togheter, I don’t really want to see that SMG swapped with another. Empire-9 with another SMG may become very redundant.

Let me fix it for you,
He has the worst SMG in the game, there is no place for Shotguns in the competitive stage for obvious reasons. At least i hadn’t any luck with them, nor i ever saw anyone who could impress me with them.
His stickies are fun to play, but they lack a lot when compared to a fraggers nades that can wipe whole team at once.
I don’t see why any reason why he can’t have any different SMG to chose from.

So you don’t even get past the primary weapon slot? What are you searching in competitive if you don’t even use side-arms? Empire 9 is as good as a hochfir and one of the best SMGs in the game. Same for Tolen.

Look, maybe when they add more loadouts we’ll get another SMG - but at that point you’re looking at an extremely lethal merc at any range.

The Empire-9 is already a powerhouse on its own if you’re good with it, same to an extent with the Blishlok, and as stated numerous times your real primary weapons are your sticky bombs.

Fletcher, as an engineer, is pretty much perfect. He’s not meant to be the number one killer on the team because it’s not his job.
