This!!! That’s a huge problem for me, too. I really would like to use IS more often (because I’m already used to them), but simply can’t because I can’t see anything. :mad:
I hope red dots are coming soon…

Different scopes will be a big positive for ironsight once they are in. I think it is also safe to assume that some scopes will zoom in more than other scopes so you’ll have varying positives and negatives per scope. Still at close range hipfire will still dominate, midrange will be closer to 50/50 depending on the user.

That would imply hip fire to really suck so I really hope it won’t be the case.

You are playing FOPS most of the time, right? I always think when playing as FOPS, how is someone able to use IS with this guns? You don’t see anything …

Just to keep things a tad realistic in this discussion… IS isn’t going away. As a group we can discuss ways to improve IS and suggestions for scopes, sights etc. but lobbying for its removal is a waste of time and effort.

Personally I think things will imprive when sights and scopes are added.

Then yeah some options are available :

  • Reduce spread overall and make the iron sights to only reduce recoil (could be still really nice to insta 4hs someone at long range)

  • Reduce spread overall and make iron sights reduce recoil/spread as much as crouch (It would allow those who don’t like it to use crouch instead at long range)

And ofc allow players to have dot only in iron sight to make it efficient.

Agreed. If iron sights end up anywhere near as effective as hipfiring at mid range in a fast paced, bullet sponge fps - it is doomed. Fair enough - have them as an alternative to standing still or ducking for long ranged shooting if needs be, but let’s keep it about the hipfiring pls.

Hipfire is already better even at midrange due to the slowdown of having to ADS and even bringing the gun up.
