i was just playing on a server run by soh clan
pretty nice setup xp just keeps going, making everyone a brig general
kinda fun… 
anyways i was playing as allies covert on battery got my self a uni ran to back door to blow the generator and got killed just inside the door ok…
so i thought ok go get another uni
then a message pops up from one of the clan members all of which were on axis says “anyone goes out back they get booted”
hrmm…
hrmm… well now that makes it a little unfair all of a sudden all the axis running down to beach with no worries that a covert will steal their uni because none of them went out back there for none of them should be going in the back
easy picking for somone like a soh to just camp in back door killing anyone coming in oh yes and ff was off too making it even harder because they could just shoot anyone without worries of tking
so i told them that gave them quite the unfair advantage and if axis wernt ment to go out back once in awhile the door wouldnt be there
and to boot somone for going out back while all the allies are getting raped out front by the artys really is not the best way to run a server
then they start blabing on how im a noob

i told them hey guys ill write a post about your server and they said who cares our server is good everyone will come anyways
soo needless to say i got booted for telling them that what they were doing was unfair
why cant ppl learn how to run a decent server and not interfere with the game just let it play out win or lose sure we all get mad when somone does somthing stupid but to threatin ppl with booting if they dont play how u like thats pretty lame

And that’s why I hate clan servers. There are some okay clans, but most have a chip on their shoulder the size of alaska.
They’ll either team stack (which is kind of fair enough, they want to train as a team) but invariably if you ask them to swap around a bit, they either bootr you or hurl abuse. Some servers have stupid admins like you mentioned above. Others have will kick you for either a) using a weapon they dislike or b) taking the weapon the admin wants on weapon restriced servers.
So many servers with so many losers running them. And then they complain and say the community has gone to hell and that’s why their servers are always empty.
On the whole, most clans are good, but I’ve seen more than a few that seem to have some kind of superiority complex. They think that because they are a clan, they’re better than everyone else and get to decide whats right and whats wrong and how people play.
Unfortunately theres not much you can do about it though, apart from avoiding thier server and warning others to do the same.

Actually =NK= was at one time an RtCW clan but we took an extended vacation and stuff and now half of us are ET and half just do their own thing… The admins who run the server, such as myself have been around for a real long time and know what’s fair and what’s just plain idiocy (as far as superiority complexes go).
Our only rule in the server is “no smacktards, no whiners.”
Hahah, you can badmouth me all you want, but it won’t warrant you a kick, unless you’re giving everyone else a bad experience, like TK’ing, bleeding teammembers, or even TALKING the entire time and not helping your team. It’s usually full with people waiting to get in, and it’s all in fun so take it easy. It saddens me to see so many servers like SOH that kick because they don’t play the way you want them to… so sad…

I wasn’t trying to say anything bad about clans or clan servers in general, just that, as you must have noticed at some point, there ARE SOME clans out there that have a very elitist attitude, and seem to consider themselves somewhat “superior” to non-clan players. I’ve seen this to the point that, on a non-clan public server, not owned or affiliated by the particular clan, you get some who like to tell other people how and how not to play (not in a friendly advice way) and think that because they’re a “l33t” clan, what they say goes.
Fortunately, most clans I’ve encountered are not at all like that.

I F*****N hate bleeders. They are the worst of all the scum on these servers. I had one the other day, would pick a target (which turned out ot be me this time) and bleed them out of the spawn every time down to about 10 health. When I called a vote to kick him and explained he was a bleeder, he simply said “it was an accident, I’m, sorry” and no-one voted him off. And because he was only bleeding me I could do nothing to convince the others. In the end I switched to the other side, despite the fact I love playing allies on Goldrush :weird:
Oh I know man, it’s coo. I didn’t take it that way that you were claiming that all clan servers think they’re elite. And I agree with you completely about the bad bunch of “elite” servers/players. I was just making a point that the server I run for example is nothing like that… at least not while I’m around anyways 
And yea Damocles… bleeders are most certainly the scum of the universe. There’s no way to get rid of them unless you’re an admin because they’re rarely voted off if they’re only targeting one person… the only thing you can really do is switch teams, or bleed those bastards back and pretend like you’re having the best time of your life doing it. They usually stop, however, not always.
I got a list of IP’s of sort of repeat offenders… and a few I have already banned. I shouldn’t have to do stuff like that tho, people should just play the game the way it was meant to. :drink:
well had servers where ive been playing on for hrs and then somone join and mutes me (which i think is worse then being kicked)
just votes to mute for no reson and everyone else just votes yes to get the vote off the screen
even 1 time i had a guy come to my defense and say hey why mute him he hasent said anything and i was still muted grrrrrr
or ppl u know r using n7 hack u tell every one they think ur stupid like the other day i was telling everyone hey this guy is hacking
i was playing fuel dump as allies comming out of the far tunnel near depot and guy a the crew msg was shooting at the entrance befor i even come around the bolder there hrmm how does he know im there try a couple more times
nope still see me comming
so they all laugh at me guy votes to mute me
and poof like 10 mins l8r he get pb kick saying using open gl hack
