How’s the Brink game these days ?
Wondering if something changed since my last visit ?
are these players who was unsattisfied - sattisfied now ?
everything got better and the community grows ?
dedicated linux servers are finally avilable ?
are you all happy with Brink ? ? ?
because my copy of Brink PC is in dust… in dark corner of forgotten games but hey if it got fixed, i could try it again, right ?

NO fix for the container city glitch
NO DLC news
NO big community
NO news from devs …

What’s surprising is that you think this thread proves anything. It’s a vaguely disguised flamebait thread that will primarily attract the dissapointed.
It’s been 1 month since release and SD has already done a few patches. The DLC is not late yet (the only date that has ever been officially given was “June”) and yet the massive negativity still abounds.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions of course but some of the people here need to get over their emo phase. If it makes you sad then move along and leave it for someone that enjoys it.
Personally I’m still having fun with the game.

i have one friend who play tetris, i show him Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Brink and ask him which game is better.
He said he preffer his tetris over these two titles. I hope you got the point… It’s good that you enjoy the game, zenstar

On the NO manual smart you can use the Brinkit (config tool) to make sprint toggle just like crouch.

I’m fine with people liking / disliking what they want to. I just don’t like people constantly complaining about the things they don’t like after they’ve already made their point.
I don’t expect your buddy to make a forum account on the Battlefield forums to tell them how Tetris is a much better game. I’ve bought games that I played and thought “bah… waste of my time”. I don’t then log onto their forums and tell the people that do enjoy the game that it’s a terrible game. If they enjoy it then it’s a good game for them.
Of course I make exceptions for the people that create threads that criticise the game and promote discussion. Those threads will actually help the game get better. The QQ and rage threads / posts, however, are simply a waste of internet ink.
And that internet ink be expensive!
Yea, amazes me seeing the same people constantly making posts how bad this game is or just being negatvie over and over with nothing constructive to say, just being negative drama queens…

Like I said: if he goes on and creates a constructive, criticising post then thumbs up to him.
If he QQs and rages then he’s lost my sympathy and I don’t care about how much he paid.
If people make threads here about why they’re dissapointed with Brink (and don’t demand refunds and call people who like the game “fanboys”) with an eye to actually letting the developers address their issues then awesome.
On the flip side of the coin: I also dislike people who rage against people automatically dismissing them with the old line “go play COD”.
If you can’t debate a topic properly and civilly then you need to not get onto forums.

It would still be irrelevant, and a bad thing to do Tetris and BF have absolutely nothing in common - not a single thing. Unless your friend classes “being a game” as a valid comparison point, in which case they need to stick to doing other things, and avoid making comparisons heh
Please keep it constructive and on topic. To the OP: Minor changes and fixes have arrived but many are waiting for the patch/DLC.
sounds good, i mean sounds bad but at least we have some info ok i’ll be back in two months, will see how it will be then !
Luckily, they’re not nearly as numerous as the people who failed to get a K/D of less than 0.5 in any match in a previous SD game, who believe Brink is amazing and all the complainers are ‘just not good at it’.

So I’ve come to the conclusion that you and wolfnemesis75 either:
(1) are so financially unstable that you will go to back-breaking lengths to defend a mere $50 purchase, OR:
(2) are somehow associated with SD and must defend SD’s honor, even though the vast weight of gamers’ opinions are heavily against you.
So which is it? Face it, not many people like this game and there are probably very good reasons for that.
