A logitech G502 which i honestly regret buying because the cable braiding broke within months of me buying the mouse and it’s a bit large for me, but since i don’t have unlimited funds i still use it.
I was thinking of selling this one and getting a steelseries rival of sorts
So, what mouse you using these days?
Gotta love bringing back old posts from the dead huh, but why you ask?
Well i thought i would just let you Guys know that’s it R.I.P. to ANOTHER, yup my 2nd Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury (look back through the thread) and the same fault again Mousewheel (scroll/click).
It’s a shame since i did like these mice BUT when they are only lasting approx 7 months AND the salesguy at P.C. World already said the last time that it was a design flaw that Logitech were aware of. (not that i have hands and fingers like lead weights… well only sometimes lol).
Now i am demoted to using some ‘Made in China’ backup mouse until i get a New one, question is; Suggestions on Models OR basically same from 5 months ago?
Thanks in advance
Baz (AKA Fierce Finger)
Been using a Logitech G700 for 5+ years. It isn’t perfect but it’s damn close. I’m disappointed they seemed to have abandoned it after the G700s. It’s a nice shape and the four thumbs buttons are awesome.
I used G300 for few years, but the connection started working quirky. I thought it was the cable, but it happened only when playing Dirty Bomb. Random 1-2 second disconnect and then it worked fine, happened once or twice a match. Wringing cable, waving linkage or switching port didnt affect this occurrence. I still use it with my laptop and no problem at all, mysterious. Too bad my laptop is too weak for Dirty Bomb gaming to test it.
Bought Steelseries Rival 100 months ago and it does it purpose. I still miss my extra buttons, but the software maybe is better. Started my virus scanning and now steelseries engine just disappeared and refuses to start. What a piece of…
Few months more with my G900 and my opinion hasn’t changed. This is an insane mouse, far more than anyone reasonably needs for anything, but it is so perfect in everything it does.
Price might have dropped a bit, I don’t remember what it was when I got mine, but it’s around 115 USD on Amazon now.
There’s also the G903 for ~125 USD, which is nearly identical except it includes wireless charging capabilities. The catch being having to buy a 100 USD charging pad. Worth it to never have to plug your mouse in ever again? Not for me at that price.
If you’re looking for something a bit more reasonable, my brother picked up a Steelseries Sensei some months ago, for around 60 USD. He’s only had good things to say, but he generally plays more isometric games and less FPS.
Hey, cool, someone else bumped this so now I’ve got an excuse to reply too! B) I’m not going to be back home in Kentucky for a few months due to work so I don’t have my usual pad, keyboard, and mouse collection to share, but I’ve got my baby FK1+ and a secondary CM keyboard I love with me right now. Also have a Rival 100 that I travel with in case one breaks on me. Love the shell and scroll wheel, but wish it was bigger and the sensor and switches were better. Great budget mouse, though.
Over a year with my G303 and loving it. Lightweight and perfect for fingertip/clawgrip styles. Never use the side buttons, but the main buttons up top work great. Glides smoothly and quickly across 50cm of mousepad. The mouse was a great buy for $25 on sale and I only regret not buying a few more. Hopefully the Logitech G Pro goes on sale as well and I can nab a few of those since it’s pretty much the same thing.
I have 2 of these with a 3rd one soon i hope, since my kid keeps stealing one of mine for his laptop.
Redragon M901 Perdition
The option to not have all the side macro buttons was like twice as much. They don’t bother me anyway.
I’ve got a Razer Mamba TE… God bless my weary soul.
Probably gonna get a deathadder elite soon though
Been using a Logitech MX518 (on my second one) for probably 5 years. Had a Death Adder before that and 2 MX510 units prior to that.

That thing looks older than me for goodness sakes.
I used to use a Corsair Katar It was a small light weight mouse with which is ok. But I honestly prefer mice with a little weight to them. Used this mouse a my main until I bought the new Steel Series Rival 310 http://www.techtoyreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/SteelSeries-Rival-310.jpg. This sensor on this thing is amazing.
So… after some deliberation i decided not to get another Logitech and thought i would give the Corsair M65 PRO RGB a go…
… I’m not sure if i like it yet or not but one thing i don’t like is the ‘Sniper DPI button’ on the side as its very close to the thumb buttons.
Zowie EC1-A, it took me 2 days to get used to the shape after 2 years of using a mionix castor, and even while adjusting to the grip my shots were just better. felt really weird to have your hand feel like crap while you feel your aim has improved.
