So, what mouse you using these days?

(pumpkinmeerkat) #61

Been very happy with the Logitech G900 for almost a year now. Had issues charging when I first purchased but after receiving a replacement it’s been great. In terms of weight and ergonomics I still prefer Zowie EC2-A and ZA12 but low sensitivity FPS play is better overall without the wire.

It’s already pretty amazing they got the weight as low as they did but if they could ditch the lighting and save a few ounces I’d be even happier

you guys use wireless input and don’t have trouble with polling ?
interesting

(Dagasawr) #63

i used a razer naga hex that i didnt know was broken for about a year and a half then swapped out for a shiny new one

Logitech G300(s)

2500dpi (10 in game setup) static wrist, claw grip… fast like a Proxy <3
Cheap, small and efficient … again like a Proxy <3

G900 performs very well. Logitech goes into far too much detail attempting to prove wireless can work as well or better than wired mice. I’ll just say that it feels as responsive as any mouse that I’ve used and the battery lasts long enough to never be a concern. The weight is my only complaint.

What mouse do you use @Nail ?

My mouse is still going strong, although the middle click is probably the thing I use the least you should see if you can get it repaired under warranty? I’m sure one of the reviews of this mouse said something about the buttons being rated into the millions of clicks, so unless you were middle clicking your way through Sakura Clicker it should have losted longer than that[/quote]

Yeah @blonk i just managed to find the receipt in my PC files since i ordered it online and the date was 2nd July 2016 so basically it lasted 7 months :disappointed:

It does indeed have a 2 year warranty so i will be sending it back for a fix or replacement but that will most likely take weeks, so i ordered another one with next day delivery today

lets see if i can break the new one! lmao

Oh and thanks for the input Guys.

Just some random mouse i have. Nothing special.

Since this has been resurrected:
Been using a G900 for a few months now, can confirm it is that good.

I didn’t intend on using it wireless, but decided to give it a shot. I have not had a single problem with the wireless. I never want to go back to having a cord.

I expected it to be a brick like a G502 (168 grams), but it is really light. (And I used to use an Abyssus, which is no-frills, light as possible at 71 grams.) G900s mass in at 107, which is pretty reasonable to me.

Battery life is a bit short, but I also don’t turn mine off because I’m lazy. Still lasts 2 days between charges.

It’s also ambidextrous. I grew up playing games on the same setup as my left handed brother, so I am very used to having ambidextrous mice, to the point I probably wouldn’t have gotten it if it wasn’t.

It’s a pricey rodent, but absolutely insane considering what it does. Assuming I don’t have any technical difficulties with it or break it by being a moron, I’ll probably be using it for years.

@titaniumRapture @Baz Certainly the Rival 100 is a good mouse, nice quality build, good shape, good weight, tracking well for precision shot. But I would recommend you to pay the extra cash to get the Rival 300, 100 is good, 300 is just great. The reason why i bought the 100 is because it fits my hand way better. And comfort is a big factor when choosing a mouse. Or you could take a look at the Razer Abysuss V2. They are very similiar to each other.
