During Activision’s financial conference call following the release of its latest financial figures, company execs said that the Splash Damage-id Software multiplayer shooter Enemy Territory: Quake Wars has been “penciled in” for a release late in its final 2007 fiscal quarter which ends on March 31. The execs cautioned, however, that id Software is in charge of the final release date and that it could change.

Also, I think the only thing you would be able to register is your account name, not an ingame name :slight_smile:

Actually, if you want to split hairs, they only said it’s been “pushed out of 2006,” or something along those lines. I haven’t seen a specific statement of 2007 (but I haven’t kept a particularly close eye on it, so there may have been one).

If the above is true, it could be 2008. Or 2009. Or…
