g100s, roughly 60cm/360, no accel cause i cant be bothered installing them ql drivers and running in test mode all the time ^^
the sens is just so that its low enough to do 1cm flicks on distant enemies with the revivr or BR16 etc. (1 inch = 2.5cm).
if it was higher id lose a lot of accuracy.
mousepad is either a 1m long plastic sheet from the local do it yourself store, which lost its glide slightly haha.
or a cqk heavy.
or currently some tiny (35x25) logitech pad which has great glide.
for me the hard pads work better for tracking as i have less resistance than on my cloth one, but its more or less a thing of getting used to.
finger grip mousing, mostly only fingers or wrist, whole underarm for hectic stuff or close range tracking/moves.
oh yeah my mousefeet are 4 metal washers attached with pieces of double sided tape. they glide enormously well but will probably kill my pad faster than the plastic ones.
who cares, my 1m ‘do it your self’ pad costs 10 bucks and can be used on both sides
also have a cut up old sock over my mouse cable so it stays where i want it.
used to take the sock over my underarm just closely to the wrist for better glide when its hot. plus take the mouse cable trough the sock, going up towards my arm, over my shoulder and lap, into the side usb port of the tower.
that way the mouse cord never gets in your way again but its a hassle so it just keeps my cable in place now.
sooo as a suggestion for you:
-set your sens to at least over 40cm/360
-get a mousepad that you like, plastic or cloth, BIG!
-do some research what the currently best mouse sensor is (overclock.net i think)
-maybe switch from wasd to something more to the right of your keyboard.
i used to play on home, del, end, page down and with the surrounding keys until i got this logitech game “pad” thing that replaces your kb for left hand stuff.
