So, ive been booted back a rank twice today

Almost every game i have played today i have topscored on my team, but the rest of my team are compelte potato or leave.

Extreme example

If someone is topscoring on their team could you PLEASE make it not affect their rank as much if they lose. If they win just leave it as is, im just tired of scoring significantly higher in many games than the rest of my team but still losing because theyre window lickers or salty ragequitters.

I got my rank yesterday, got booted from silver 2 to silver 1 because potato team, JUST got back to silver 2, now im at risk for demotion again because of this fucking match.

Im not saying nullify completely the reduction, just by about 25%-50% less damage to their rank.

3vs5=ending the match and both teams don’t receive any changes to their rank. Seriously, this is out of hand. Dick-people leave left and right, and ruin the fun and rank of others.

Can’t say I’m not enjoying myself, same people who complained MM’s being shit before and demanded for changes, got what they asked for now and they still cry. This change was stupid to the bottom anyways, now you have casual pubs and pubs with trinkets, woopitiedoo B)

Nothing new most of the matches I’m in up to half the team leaves at the first sight there gonna get creamed. I’ve only won 3 out of 14 games because once people realize the other team is a clan they all run scared and either leave the match or vote surrender.

Like I said yesterday in my rant about having to play with 220+ pings, the other problem we had is the one guy on our team who did have low ping was sitting at our spawn and just shooting us in the back, but he was never killing us. So we couldn’t kick him. He was using Thunder while we were on underground attack and he just sat at the top of the escalator flashing us and shooting us until we were low. So we were technically playing as a 4, and we would always enter the arena on half health because some little kid thought it would be a funny idea to troll his first game of ranked.

It might be called ranked but it’s not ranked or competitive play by any means any more. It’s just double XP pub servers.

First game of ranked competitive:
My team lost, I scored 4000~ higher than the second in my team.

Second game of ranked competitive:
My team lost, I scored 4000~ higher than the second in my team.

Third game of ranked competitive:
My team lost, I scored 3000~ higher than the second in my team.

Fourth game of ranked competitive:
My team lost, I scored 40~ higher than the second in my team. (There was a drop after that second player.)

Fifth game of ranked competitive:
My team was already losing before I was kicked out of the game for not wanting to waste on a match that was clearly lost from the start.

Sixth game of ranked competitive:
I pretty much just jumped around and tried to knife and revive people for shits and lols. Even left the match early in hopes of a sixth loss… but that game was still a win. Ugh.

So yeah, I went from trying to win to trying to lose and only then I get a win.

Anyhow, since I now cannot get those ten straight losses to determine my rank… I pretty much lost all interest with these ranked matches. You know, just fuck this bullshit.

Do it like CSGO does. if they leave, they can’t play the game at all, not only comp mode for 2 hrs, 1 day, 1 week, 1+ week.
I played 4 comp games and in all 4 games people on my team/enemies team left. Once we won a 4vs5, 3 we lost a 4vs5.

You’re good at being salty but not at doing your research. There already is actual punishment for repeated leaving/being kicked. I believe you aren’t allowed to play for a day or something

I was trying to argue that aswell @Jesus. Why people thought it was going to be a good idea was just beyond me. Yes, it will get more activity, temporarily while people try it out, but it is no longer ranked or competitive and people are going to get incredibly annoyed at pairing up with total noobs very quickly.

That’s the other thing I didn’t note. Our team had no engineers, no medics, people were unwilling to change their classes, and no one was on comms. There was not enough time to discuss anything before the game with the randoms on your team either so you can’t exactly talk about roles and make proper merc choices amongst the 5 of you. I tried to rotate between mercs sensibly, but it’s impossible to be an engineer and a medic when you have 2 snipers and 2 fire support on your damn team haha.

in my defence im only playing comp for the shiny dangly bits and the only changes to comp i wanted were the credits/exp boost and a list of how many people were alsoqueueing when you queued
