As the title says. I believe there was a release about that you can preorder and reserve you account in July. Still up for preorder this month ?

I assume it will be in the latter half, but yeah, I’m all over the preorder.

EDIT: I just want a way that I can download it before hand and start playing 12:01 on the release day! :smiley: Then of course, the box with my CD’s would come via snail mail or UPS.

Does anyone know how it works… Like the game releases on August 5’th. Does that mean that the preorders ship Aug 5’th, or the game arrives Aug 5’th.
Because then preordering would stink. Just go to Best Buy on the release date and get it then.

So the really awesome way to do it would be to download the digital copy for the preorder fee, then they send the the package later. Is this ever done? Because that would be sweet.

I’ve done a bunch of pre-orders through EB. I’ve used 2day and overnight shipping. Either way I’ve always received the game on release day or in one or two cases the day before if you can believe it. I know others have had differing experiences but it’s worked great for me.

I’m wary of pre-ordering just because I want the game the day it’s released. Receiving it two days after release is just not acceptable to me. If I can just put down $5, and the preorder store doesnt have the game on release day, I’ll just justify the $5 as a ‘registering my name’ fee, and then go buy it where they do have it.

I’ve had bad experiences with Best Buy and online retailers, but so far Gamestop/EB in store pre-ordering has been the best. Only once did I have to wait an extra day at G/EB.

I don’t care about getting my special username or to actually get the game as soon as possible. Don’t get me wrong, if the gamne is good I’ll play if for a long time but I’m in no hurry, at least not more so than that I’ll buy it in store when it’s available.
