So, China to war with America soon

Short and simple version of what happened recently. source

US military officials said today they would provide Taiwan with weapons to protect itself from a possible Chinese attack, despite Beijing’s warning that such sales could lead to conflict.

The officials told a congressional hearing that China was preparing for a fight against the island.

The military build-up, which includes 1,000 ballistic missiles deployed opposite Taiwan, is in contrast to the improved ties between the rivals since the 2008 election of Taiwan president Ma Ying-jeou.

The comments follow China’s announcement that it intercepted a missile during a test of new technology.

Actual speech of from the Chinese Defense Minister, of a Chinese source

Two key parts of his speech

We must prepare ourselves for two scenarios. If our biological weapons succeed in the surprise attack [on the United States], the Chinese people will be able to keep their losses at a minimum in the fight against the United States. If, however, the attack fails and triggers a nuclear retaliation from the United States, China would perhaps suffer a catastrophe in which more than half of its population would perish. That is why we need to be ready with air defense systems for our big and medium-sized cities. Whatever the case may be, we can only move forward fearlessly for the sake of our Party and state and our nation’s future, regardless of the hardships we have to face and the sacrifices we have to make. The population, even if more than half dies, can be reproduced. But if the Party falls, everything is gone, and forever gone!

From a humanitarian perspective, we should issue a warning to the American people and persuade them to leave America and leave the land they have lived in to the Chinese people. Or at least they should leave half of the United States to be China’s colony, because America was first discovered by the Chinese. But would this work? If this strategy does not work, then there is only one choice left to us. That is, use decisive means to “clean up” America, and reserve America for our use in a moment. Our historical experience has proven that as long as we make it happen, nobody in the world can do anything about us. Furthermore, if the United States as the leader is gone, then other enemies have to surrender to us.

My own speculations, Chinese are required to take English in college with the choice of 1 to 4 courses. Not completely accurate, but I know many Chinese who had to take English in college. This shows the seriousness of the matter, by their focus on America.
This is absolutely absurd and the world would would be torn inside out. Even for a warmonger like myself. Marines…

sounds like a videogame… O_o

one of those what if scenarios… but seriously… if this is going to happen… WTF do they want to tear apart the planet?

It does sound surreal, only because China has been hyped up to be a superpower… they’re not comparative to the US.

The ONLY way china can win is through bio weapons of mass destruction. Observe the weak military force of China. Since wars are fought for only mere weeks/months instead of years now China will have no chance for an industrial revolution like America had in WW. The economic possibilities of an actual invasion onto US soil is pretty much impossible. The cost ratio of getting a solider to America is to much. This is why Bio weapons of mass destruction is their only chance. They know this, and don’t think for a minute China won’t exploit their only possibly preemptive strategy that could be successful. In the speech the Prime Minister gives details that the Chinese have been working on bio weapons specifically for the US.

there’s one thing that might be overlooked at this point… the Germans did it, the US did it (in WWII) so it’s possible the Chinese do it too…
force every single person fit for military service to join the army, amass them (yes it’ll take a couple of years, but the US is still quite busy in the Middle East…) if they want, (know that they have quite alot of resources hidden in the soil) they can become a huge military force… but I’m quite sure it won’t get that far…

this could just be Propaganda :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t want to think about this cause my head will explode with all the possibilities for creative use of all the knowledge I’ve gathered from the article (the Epoch Times one) and I’m not even half way through it…

(PSG_Mud) #5

Ya, but they need to have the machines to back up those soldiers. Having large population numbers is meaningless. In war today, the Air Force will be doing most of the damage.

China
Total Aircraft: 1,900 [2004]
Helicopters: 491 [2004]
Serviceable Airports: 467 [2007]

US
Total Aircraft: 18,169 [2003]
Helicopters: 4,593 [2003]
Serviceable Airports: 14,947 [2007]

As you can see in this case population doesn’t matter. Once China has their Air-Force completely wiped out. They will be sitting ducks, and it will be game over. China claims to have superior hacking technology to nullify our air-force. But, I doubt how far that will get them.

very interesting how they mention only 4 out of 10 (well 9 if you exclude China) countries…

I’m also pretty sure they’d have more luck taking over South America than trying to take over North America…

here’s a list of the largest countries (by area) according to about.com with the 4 countries (italicized) he mentions to 'have sufficient space to occupy with Chinese colonists (or Yellow People as he calls them, lol)

1 Russia: 17,075,200 km2 (6,591,027 mi2)
2 Canada: 9,984,670 km2 (3,854,082 mi2)
3 United States: 9,631,418 km2 (3,717,727 mi2)

4 China: 9,596,960 km2 (3,704,426 mi2)
5 Brazil: 8,511,965 km2 (3,285,618 mi2)
6 Australia: 7,686,850 km2 (2,967,124 mi2)
7 India: 3,287,590 km2 (1,269,009 mi2)

8 Argentina: 2,766,890 km2 (1,068,019 mi2)
9 Kazakhstan: 2,717,300 km2 (1,048,877 mi2)
10 Sudan: 2,505,810 km2 (967,243 mi2)

There would be no winner in such a war.
Two countries pushing nationalism and patriotism to the extreme (which sort of forbids a capitulation) going against each other equipped with weapons of mass destruction. Yeah I’m sure it will turn out well if it comes to a war.

(otakustar) #8

oh hai, we are chinese people
:infiltrator:

(tokamak) #9

I don’t think it’s likely there’ll be a conflict.

(stealth6) #10

I bet their launch date is 21/12 2012 so you better gear up.

(Apoc) #11

I side with japan, they have ninjas

(tokamak) #12

A Chinese civil war/revolution will be more likely actually, it’s getting harder and harder for the government to control the information leaking in through the internet and the public is growing more independent.

(stealth6) #13

only thing japan has to fear -> pirates!

ninja :armadillochase: pirate

(Apples) #14

You can block the totality of japan by sending them dolphins and whales, they HATE them! f**k you dowphins!

(otakustar) #15

I thought they are into chicken and cow nowadays
this thread is now officially about southpark

(BioSnark) #16

Indeed. Lets also recall that China has a truly massive investment in the current US economy not merely in trade but in US debt which would be worth nothing if the US economy fails.

(Tanzverbot) #17

This definitly has absolutely nothing to do with the importance of english in international communication. YOU’RE ON TO SOMETHING THERE, BUDDY.

However, i’ll be on a business trip in Hongkong in two weeks. I’ll pay attention if i encounter any nuclear warheads raining down and report back here.

(darthmob) #18

Damn Tanzverbot, gotta love your sarcasm!

(tokamak) #19

Indeed, China is best served with a quick US recovery.

(WhiteAden) #20

nothing beats Tokamak’s though… this one was close, but not quite… lol
