SMG gun question

It seems like there’s little or no recoil on the Sub Machine Guns yet the pistol kicks hard. Anyone else think is the case? My aim seems to have magically gotten better in ET. Granted that’s not saying much but when I start getting the “highest accuracy” while playing with my teammates award it makes me wonder what’s up here.

SMG kicks all around in mroe of a circle pattern

the hand guns kick upwards… and yes the pistol actually moves your reticule and the SMG doesn’t

You can compensate for the kick of the pistol with a little practice
