First of all this:
WAT A FREAKING GOOD GAME!

However, on the beach map (uuuh “gun” its called or something) i noticed that , as a medic, i cannot revive people under water, the syringe wont “fire” underwater… was this intended?

Sometimes, if the water is shallow enough, you can stab your needle through the water and get a revive. I’ve also noticed if you jump, while facing down, you’ll be able to revive someone who seems unreachable.
Yea you’re only real chance of raising somebody underwater is to try to do it from the surface of the water… heheh, much like shooting a weapon… get up top and just fire down at the little monkey coming after you with a knife :eek2:
except knife or grenades.
never understood why you couldnt use syringe underwater – its not a weapon after all
:pointless post to point out bani made a comment that had already been made, thus breaking minor ettiquette:
It’s a bit like jumping out your seat and shouting “OMG THAT RUDE F*CKER JUST FARTED?”
except knife or grenades.

I agree absolutely,… the syringe isnt a fired weapon,…
it is nice that u can´t shoot fired weapons like gun and pistol,… but the syringe? Sorry this is a bit stupid. Ok,… there should be an entity for making it unworkable (e. g. for the oasis,… reviving under water would affect the game like cheating ( two medics revive each other in the flooded caves)). But on Battery it is absolutley correct to heal. So that is my opinion,…
Good point, two medics would be like scuba divers
I wish the medic compass didn’t show a revive icon for players who are so far underwater that they can’t be revived.
well if you think about it, it’s pretty hard to administer first aid to a person underwater you know…
the ER’s are usually on land!
The medic’s can use their syringe because of governmental restrictions : Patients could suffer a severe and painfull death when the magic potion within the syringe , would be mixed up with water
Surely it makes sense anyway? A player who is “wounded” underwater will drown… So how on earth could they be “revived”?
