I’m wondering what the community’s opinion is on this.
If there’s one thing I hate about many of today’s FPS games (apart from noobtubes) is dolphin divers, or prone hoppers.
For example, you come across an opponent and the first thing they do before any thing else is hit the floor, generally making themselves a smaller target and in many games with very little penalty for doing so.
I’m wondering how Brink’s slide system compares to this. I assume you can only slide to knock people down when you’re close enough to do so but could imagine a scenario where there’s a whole group of you trying to do the same thing to gain an advantage. That’s gotta look pretty stupid.
Anyway. I would appreciate some opinion or feedback from the devs or anyone in the know on how the slide works as an attack or counter to attacks.
