Overall, I think it is good. It has its flaws, but what it does, it does well - offers a class-based team oriented objective game. It may be a niche title, but that’s fine with me.
It’s good but they need to actually fix the lag issue, add lobies and get rid of the god damned bots
I’m not getting it. People can say “Just need to fix lag, add lobbies, get rid of the god damned bots, more maps, need balanced guns, hardly anyone chats, need higher level cap, unsatisfactory pc game. Oh…crap that’s a lot. Still a good game though.”
Exactly. The game is great (for what it sets out to do), but there are still some issues.
What bothers me:
It’s really good, I can see it shine through my 12 fps. I would play this to pieces if they’d let me.

What bothers me:
Because despite any of its flaws it’s still a lot of fun to play and that to me is the best metric of whether or not a game is good.
The problem is you’re letting the issues destroy any enjoyment for you, others aren’t. Sure there’s problems, but people can still enjoy the game inspite of those issues… this seems to be the part you just can’t comprehend.
The more I play medic, the more the interaction system annoys me I’m afraid. While it’s mostly fun, I’m seeing too much of:
Use key generally feeling quite sluggish, and often not activating even when in range, highlighted and in need of revive/buff etc. Especially when trying to focus on a player other than the one highlighted for interaction
When trying to revive near a command post, hitting Use when revive target highlighted, and STILL interacting with CP, accidentally changing class, and dying shortly afterwards. Really, really want to see separate binds for buff/revive - even if they’re just optional.
These are my main two gripes - I’m still having plenty of fun matches on both sides
If these are fixed, along with some gun tweaks and maybe a tad of respawn timer adjustment - I should still be having plenty of good games in the near future.
I voted bad only to be honest… It’s alot like a struggling relationship.
Marketing was deceptive… The game is a cartoon version of it.
Lag on initial release was deplorable.
Unedited presentation… Ever notice the WHITE font on WHITE background when on the help & extras menus??? BRILLIANT right??? ;-(((
The deployment of equipment & buffs is not smooth… It’s a struggle to send a revive or place a mine on one button press (ps3) when moving around.
I am here because I needed to find friends on psn because it was not obvious how to do so from their lobby system… Which we all know about right???
Brink is unique in that it’s team play is exactly suited in my best element as a gamer in a support role versus a raging kid shooting everything without reason, you know???
Dreadful game.
Unpolished, badly made, outdated graphics engine.
Gameplay unable to handle the online demands or the amount of stuff happening on screen.
Unbalanced.
Poor objective design.
Dreadful netcode.
Terrible setup.
Redundant character customisation (such as it is).
NO teamwork.
Bots.
No team balancing.
Everything that could be wrong with this game, is wrong with this game.
Garbage game. Most people who were unfortunate enough to waste money on this have recognized it as such and uninstalled already. Only gonna have mostly people with low standards still interested in this game and talking about it on forums.
Over all it’s a good game and I certainly feel my purchase was justified. Also, I like how some people who haven’t even played the game are calling it garbage. Not calling anyone out in particular, just saying.
