WEll at lvl 4 covert op you get instant-o-matic backstab kill right?
Hmm this reminds me of the sub stage from RTCW:SP When you kill two lopers…open a side door and a panzer guy and two smgs come from the other side? (where you have already been before?)

Well it was always loads of fun to go the long route around…sneak up behind them and knife em once each in the back.

End of Flashback.

Now In ET, when you backstab someone at lvl 4…does he die straight out? or does he “die” and start calling for a medic? Point being killing him and having him call for a medic is not exactly a silent kill is it?

Another question: Is the backstab actually silent? At lvl 1 or 4? I hear a swoosh sound but maybe thats from extra hits AFTER the guy is dead?

The lvl 4 covop is completely useless.

When you get the “backstab” icon and you hit, then the victim automaticlly gets some 100 damage or something, and when you swoosh again he gets some 30 or something. And the delay between the first and the secong hit is some 0,3 seconds, so it doesn´t matter.

And it makes the same voice!

And it´s not insta gib!

It should be completely silent and instagib though…

The instant backstab isnt useless… i love destroying the allied CP in fuel dump, then waiting behind the pillar, when an engie comes i run up behind him and bam instant kill, then i gib him with a couple extra jabs to the stomach and take his uniform, and i should really get used to not using run on sentences.

it is useless, because the gib isnt totally silent… that axis still calls for a medic… and whats the difrenc,e u stab so fast that there isnt any difrence between 1 or 2 stabs…

LVL 4 assasin should be insta gib and silent, i agree
