I’m sure this is just an oversight on my part, but so far I’m doing a good job looking right over it. I have some keys bound to some quick vsay items. ie: /bind x “vsay_team thanks”
Here’s the odd part. Each time I press one, it also pops up my Topshots scoreboard. It’s very odd and I can’t figure it out. It doesn’t matter what key is bound. I’m hoping this is some obvious oversight. Any ideas?
bind UPARROW “vsay_team affirmative”
bind DOWNARROW “vsay_team negative”
bind LEFTARROW “vsay_team sorry”
bind RIGHTARROW “vsay thanks”
bind DEL “vsay_team medic”
bind PGDN “vsay_team needengineer”
bind END “vsay_team needammo”
bind SHIFT “+topshots”
those are my only vsay’s, and my only topshots bind. did you want my whole config. i’ve messed around with q3 based configs for ages, but never seen something odd like this.
odd. What happens if you unbind Shift. Like unbind it in the console. What happens?
It quit doing it, but I’m not sure what I did. I didn’t really change anything that I can recall. I did go ahead and unbind shift, but even before I did that it had quit. Odd, but oh well, it’s working as it should.
