There are 3 scenarios with FF being on…

Idiots/‘trolls’ wanting to just team kill people.

More skill is brought to the table.

Getting really frustrated because of the fast paced game play, you’re the one who likes to be an aggressive player, but the spray and pray guy on your team, always shooting from the other side of the map keeps killing you.

Things that can easily be solved by introducing a working votekick-system and automated system against violation.

Teamkill “x”-Seconds after spawn = autokick
X Teamkills in X seconds = autokick

and so on.
Plus a votekick-system that gives u a timeban.

i believe csgo does that in mm when you do to much TD you get booted - source it happens to me

Yep.
But CS:GO has no moments of intentional teamkills, I don’t how many -XP u get for TK and how much time a TK + Fullrevive (+ Spawnshield tactic) is needed compared to medkits.

Ranged Weapons

K-121 Machine Gun - Reduced spread and recoil by ~5%
PDP-70 Automatic Sniper Rifle - This will no longer insta-gib players if it kills with a headshot
KEK-10 SMG - Bullet spread now increases ~7% faster than before while firing
Crotzni SMG - Bullet spread now increases ~10% faster than before while firing

Where’s the MoA and Fel-IX nerf? Why touch the Crotzni at all? Crotzni was fine as is, all the while the Kek-10 has been a huge thorn ever since it’s been introduced. I don’t understand your reasoning or values behind any of the changes.

Melee Weapons

Added a turn-speed-limit for melee attacks to prevent exploits and to reward initial aim
    This will be fine-tuned based on player feedback and metrics
Cricket Bat - Reduced run speed when equipped by 2.5%

Turn-speed limit limitation broke the game. Why the hell ever you decide to lock our screen into a stasis when using melee weapons as opposed to just removing the multiple hits is beyond me.
Why does cricket bat receive a run speed nerf? What’s the logic here? It already is at a severe disadvantage in comparison to normal knives due to it’s ridiculous long animation, gibbing is far more efficient with regular knives.

General

Clamped a number of video settings to address exploits, such as completely disabling particle effects

That’s great and all, but if you’re going to drastically limit values present us with options that lets us remove particle effects such as blood/explosions or even just something as simple as reducing texture detail.

Yay at muzzle flash. Seriously. Get a test-realm up, this is atrocious.

User Interface

Updates to the Spectator HUD:
    Minimap now increases in size and shows all players with the correct team colors
    Chat has been moved to the top left and players names are also correctly colored
    Objective HUD is now positioned in the centre

That’s… amazing. No, really. All these hints at “competitive casters are gonna LOVE the new spectator hud! it’s going to be gloooooooorious”… Really? This does literally… nothing.

Notable Bug Fixes

Removed the silencer from the Selbstadt .40 Pistol icon

Pretty sure I saw that exact same “fix” in 3 different patch notes.

Guess, at this point. People are just going to have to be a lot louder if they want to see actual balance changes in this game.

Made an account just to say that these suggestions are 100% gold.

The only thing I would say that it might be too much for one thread. It’s all great, but it might be better to tackle and gain support from some of these groups of ideas separately. Like a topic on balancing mercs, one on improving attacking, and another on quality of life stuff. Maybe not though. :confused:

I dont want to see -XP for either self killing or team killing. Both will be essential to competitive play no matter how unintuitive it might appear. Lets be honest 4 shots to the head to kill someone isnt exactly a mil sim way of doing things either.

how so? kek10 is insane. crotzni is strong but nowhere near as deadly. at least in my hands.

was being sarcastic, the fact that one of the guns that basically everyone wants to see nerfed got nerfed less heavily than a gun no one complains about is absurd

Wake the **** up SD. Patch after patch you’re losing and upsetting more of your player base. Stop dancing around the real issues and start addressing them.

I’ve had patience, I’ve defended you time and time again - assuring people this wouldn’t be a brink repeat, but honestly… at this point in time, I can’t even be bothered anymore. Teams have been crying for change, you’ve been ignoring them. We cry more, you still ignore us. Reddit is ridiculing you every single patch you release, you still ignore them or make fundamental changes to the game that breaks absolutely everything it’s supposed to be about. What’s the ****ing point?

Get your **** together, before it’s too late. Teams are genuinely upset and I wouldn’t be surprised by a massive decline in activity in the upcoming days/weeks if **** doesn’t get fixed.

And for crying out loud. Hire someone that actually knows how to play your game. Q&A is evidently severely lacking.

Oh. I will be honest I did not even realize there was a patch. I am sad to admit that I am not interested in playing this game in its current state and was waiting for a patch. This isnt the one I have been waiting for it would seem.
I see your point. I had the feeling that Kek10 was over the top and never heard anyone complain about the “short AK”. I must asume the changes are due to data provided by their special system (echo?). Unfortunately it does not seem to provide the same conclusions that the community arrives at.

e: After having found and read the complete patch notes I must say that the Crotzni nerf is odd but there is some good stuff there!

Great stuff. Agree on 100% written there. Some of your thoughts are similar to what I’ve written in my feedback a month ago. So big +1.

Gief the community the right to make maps and mods… making money out of community stuffs is not a bad thing, I’ll be happy to spend few dollars on a good comp’ mod or even in game cash for maps.
DO IT ! DOOOOOOOOOO IT !

(or the game is dead when overwatch will be out)

A vocal minority complaining about something is a good indication that it needs looking into but doesn’t mean they’re totally correct.

The Crotzni was out-performing the KEK-10 when it came to hip-fired accuracy it also it has slightly higher-damage and the highest DPS of all the SMGs. The two guns were also pretty much neck-and-neck when it came to stats like KDR, KPM & DPM.

While we’re still in beta, changing game mechanics, introducing additional Mercs and working on new maps, the game balance is going to vary and evolve over time. It’s also honestly not our biggest priority right now either, that would be working to fix issues like cheating, performance and unbalanced teams.

We work on game balance in parralell to these aspects but since they all have an impact on balance there’s not going to be a big game-balance push until work on those areas is significantly further along.

That is good to hear as all those things are crucial to maintaining a healthy community.
I honestly believe that short term stuff is worth implementing no matter what the plans are in the long run.
The game became playable again (for me, personally) after the Steam profile link was implemented. There is a whole lot less obvious “troll levels” of cheating now.
Obviously continued implementation can cause some headaches but with things like this it really does make a difference.

Dont want to be a dick but you didnt touch fragger for months because echo said so and yet here we are after dozen of nerfs to fragger and he is still the best merc to have in a team, its pretty obvious at this point that echo isnt helping a lot with balance :).

As a side note, i think both kek and crotzni were fine and at the same time i am fine with nerfs BUT why accuracy nerfs ? You are getting hated for that every single time it happens, yet you insist on doing it. Honestly, stop adding more RNG to the game.
